4 Pulse Pharmaceuticals is a vertically integrated group which prides itself on understanding the Zimbabwean community s unique health and lifestyle challenges. We distribute medical, pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare products to healthcare professionals in a sustainable manner through retail operations around the country.

5 Our services We carry prescription, Pharmacist-initiated Medicines and Consumer Healthcare products through two subsidiaries: Pulse Medical Care is a full-line pharmaceutical distributor with focus on proprietary medication and non-indian generics. Medtech Medical & Scientific is a pharmaceutical distributor with portfolio focus on Indian generics and consumer products. Principals include: Johnson & Johnson Aspen Gilead Sciences Scanpharm Principals include: Aurobindo Unichem Pica We offer Laboratory Equipment equipment and consumables for medical and educational laboratories, as well as after-sales maintenance services through Pulse Laboratories Principals include: Beckman Coulter O Haus Corporation Our Retail operation extends our mission into consumer market, providing suppliers enhanced channel activation opportunities Medix Self-Care Pharmacies is a private retail pharmacy chain with branches in main urban centers Harare, Mutare, Bulawayo and Gweru. Our market Our nationwide customer base includes: Hospitals (government and private) Dispensing doctors Clinics (industrial, mining, NGO) Retail pharmacies and Other medical wholesalers All customers are serviced through a telesales operation, supported by trade representatives. Our standard order delivery times are <24 hours in Harare, and <48 hours outside Harare. Beyond distribution services, we support market development activity on flexible terms according to each principal s requirements.

6 Board of Directors Nigel Mangwiro Non-Executive Chairman Mucha Mkanganwi CEO and Founder of Pulse Pharmaceuticals Nigel has served as Chairman of Pulse Pharmaceuticals since He is Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Cumii International and a member of the Econet Group. He also served as a Finance Director for Caps Holding, Cresta Hospitality and Group Finance Director of African Sun Ltd. Nigel holds a B.S (Hons) Accounting from the University of Zimbabwe and completed his Articles of Clerkship with Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe. He is an Assessor for the ICAZ TOPP program and completed development programs through Wharton Business School, IHG, Cornell University and Strategyzer. He often speaks on topics including Strategy and Entrepreneurship at institutions such as IPMZ and ICAZ. Mucha was appointed the Group Chief Executive Officer of CAPS Holdings at the age of 31, establishing Pulse Pharmaceuticals in Mucha serves on the Board of Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe and chairs the board of The Boost Fellowship. Mucha is also Chairman of Enactus Zimbabwe, which is a global organisation encouraging entrepreneurship that transforms communities. He has served on the local Global Funds Board (CCM) and is a past Deputy Chair of both the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries Economic Affairs Committee and Zimbabwe s Pharmaceutical Wholesalers Association. Mucha holds a B.S.(Hons) Economics from the University of Zimbabwe and BAccSc (Hons) from UNISA. He completed his Articles of Clerkship with Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe. He is an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellow and African Leaders Network Fellow. Dr. Shingai N. Jaravaza Non-Executive Director Shingai brings valuable insight into global therapeutic practice trends and guides the company s strategy and engagement with the HCP fraternity. He is a Senior Rural Generalist in Australia. He does General Practice, Emergency Medicine and Critical Care with a focus on Skin Cancer medicine and surgery. Shingai held an academic title at the University of Queensland s Brisbane Rural Clinical School as a Senior Lecturer in Rural Generalist Medicine. Despite being abroad, he remains invested in Zimbabwe farming in Glendale and producing seed maize for Seed Co, Angus beef and table potatoes for the hospitality industry and consumer market. Shingai is current Chairman of Old Georgians Association and Governor of St. George s College Board of Governors.

7 Management Team Tinaapi Nyawo Managing Director, Pulse Medical Care Masimba Damba Pharmacist Tinaapi was appointed Managing Director of Pulse Medical Care in 2017, previously fulfilling the role of Finance Director for nine years. He still serves as Group Finance Director. The Non-Executive Director of Medtech Medical Scientific and Non-Executive Director of Medix Limited, he also chairs the Medix Limited Finance, Risk and Audit Committee. Tinaapi is a qualified C.A, having completed his articles with PricewaterhouseCoopers Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe where he trained as an article clerk and rose to Assistant Audit Manager Level before leaving the firm. He holds a B.Comm (Hons.) Accounting from the National University of Science and Technology, as well as a BAccSc from the University of South Africa. Masimba oversees our Regulatory Compliance and product portfolio pipeline activity. He handles stock procurement and manages attendant pharmacovigilance activities. He is also responsible for all Compliance matters. Prior to joining Pulse, Masimba was the Distribution Centre Operations Manager at Premier Services Medical Investments and Research & Development Manager at CAPS Pharmaceuticals. Masimba holds a BPhm (Hons.) from the University of Zimbabwe and is currently studying towards a Master of Health Sciences with the University of Kwazulu-Natal. He underwent WHO training workshops on regulatory requirements for registration, evaluation of clinical data for registration of new vaccines, CTD documentation requirements as well as MCAZ consultative meetings on the development of new registration guidelines in 2010 and Belinda Mkanganwi Marketing Director Belinda oversees the company s channel strategy, guiding distribution, key customer management and market development activity. Belinda was Head of Sales and Distribution for Schweppes Zimbabwe Limited, and later Commercialization and Brand Manager for Coca Cola s Noncarbonated Beverage portfolio. She later transitioned to Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications for BancCABC, verseeing the bank s migration in brand positioning from business bank to a full service proposition. Belinda holds an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology in Germany as well as a BBus (Hons.) from the University of Zimbabwe. Prabhat Kumar General Manager, Medtech Medical and Scientific Prabhat is responsible for the daily operations of Medtech Medical & Scientific (MMS). He has over sixteen years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with focus on business development and channel management. Prior to his current role Prabhat worked as Country Manager in Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia. He moved there from Mumbai, where worked as an Area Manager and Medical Representative. Prabhat holds a BSc in Chemistry from Vinay Aka Missions University, India. Richard Jongwe Sales & Business Development Director Richard is responsible for the development of new business for the company. He has held several high-level Sales and Marketing roles in companies such as MediVision, Geddes and CAPS Holdings and has 14 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Richard uses his wide contact network and industry insight to build solid market presence among institutional customers (e.g. government, NGOs, hospitals and industrial clinics). He has completed courses in general management, sales force management, export market development and pricing, labour relations and performance improvement and management. Richard holds a BSc. Chemistry and Biochemistry (University of Zimbabwe). Peter Kamba General Manager, Pulse Laboratories Peter oversees the daily operations of Medtech Educational Laboratories (MEL). His experience in the Laboratory Equipment sector spans over 35 years, starting with laboratory sales and marketing with McDonald Medical & Dental in He rose through the ranks, occupying various sales management responsibilities before taking on his current generalist role in Peter s well-nurtured relationships with customers and suppliers, in-depth market understanding and mature leadership style have established MEL s market leadership position.
