Kathie continues to provide Robins Nest with legal services on a pro bono basis in a variety of legal matters including: general counsel for land acquisition, planning board and zoning board hearings, and bond settlements. Being married to a Superior Court Family Court Judge, she understands the trends relative to children in the family court system. Robert Nolan 663 E. Robert s background is useful in his board position with Robins Nest. He has helped to develop training curriculum for DYFS staff, and currently works closely with DYFS on the state level relative to the child welfare reform plan. This background provides him with an understanding of policy and reform as they relate to children and families. Robert has a Masters degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey.

In 2007, Phyllis Wood launched her latest business venture, Diamond Paint and Drywall, a WBE certified company. For Robins Nest, she utilizes her professional and personal relationships to raise funds for the agency. She has chaired our Gala Committees and continues to raise substantial funds by soliciting sponsorships for agency events. Her enthusiasm, organizational skills, and personal contact have helped to further our cause. She has been recognized by peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for the past five years. Peggy was the recipient of the 2004 Citizens Pro Bono Award given by the Philadelphia Bar Foundation of the Philadelphia Bar Association- the second attorney ever to be awarded this honor. As a volunteer attorney for the Support Center for Child Advocates, Peggy provides pro bono legal representation for abused and neglected children. Working in collaboration with a Support Center social worker, Peggy has continually carried a minimum of one case since Before joining our board, Peggy began donating countless hours to Robins Nest providing pro bono legal work and training in the HR area. She continues to provide sound legal advice and human resource training for our agency s staff. Barbara Arnold Spouse: Earl 161 LaCosta Drive Blackwood, NJ Active Board Member Since: 2008 Brief Biography: Barbara recently retired after working for the State of New Jersey Department of Children and Families, Division of Youth and Family Services for 35 years. She was also the Business Administrator for the Southern Business Office. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience developing, administering, reviewing, evaluating and negotiating contracts that serve children and families. Barbara has a degree in Early Childhood Education from Temple University. She is married, with one son, and has numerous pets including a singing parrot named Mimi.

She is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Kevin currently serves as State President of the Professional Engineers Society of New Jersey and volunteers her time providing training for the New Jersey Planning Association. Kevin has served on the Robins Nest Gala and Auction Committees and uses her broad base of contacts to generate funds and in-kind services for the agency. She is a member of the N.J.E.A., Atlantic City Musicians Association # , and many other civic, professional, and religious organizations.
