2 Sounds of Planet Company thanks for purchasing the package of 32 Combinations called Atoms it is already the third set of combinations released by Sounds of Planet. New Atoms combinations are perfect complementation of factory installed combis as well as other sets released by Sounds of Planet before: Neo-Endorphin and Electronic-Natural, sold also together as combined pack under common name ENNE. New soundset takes advantage of huge sound potential of Kronos and additional new Ge s. There are 100 of them in Atoms pack. 64 Ge s come from previous sets, whereas I have added 36 completely new patterns on which new combinations are based upon in the first place. Wide range of styles: Rock, Pop,Funk, Electronica, Dance, Trance, Ambient or World climates will provide many hours of professional work as well as great fun with the instrument. ATOMS is an explosion of new musical propositions and inspirations for You. If you are the owner of my previous combinations: Neo-Endorphin, Electronic- Natural or ENNE, don t worry just load the Ge s patterns to bank USER C. All packets from Sounds of Planet will work correctly. " A T O M S " uses all 4 KARMA modules and all 8 scenes available in the machine. We have enhanced the factory setup by new GEs to expand a potential of Korg Kronos workstation even more. In order to perform a correct installation of A T O M S package, follow the steps as described below: 1. Make a copy of all own files in the instrument performing SAVE ALL function - see manual KRONOS_Quick_Starts or KRONOS_Param_Guide 2. Compressed file called A T O M S.zip shall be unzipped. After unzipping, the file contains the folder with the following files: 1 A T O M S.KGE, 2 A T O M S.PCG 3 instruction manual in form of PDF file. 3. Copy the files A T O M S.KGE and A T O M S. PCG to portable flash USB drive or portable USB disc. 4. Connect the USB device to the instrument. ---Enter the modes as follows: Disk Drive Select Select USB lower tab highlight file for installation A T O M S. PCG and press red LOAD button; then then additionally tick the box A T O M S. PCG and press red LOAD button; then additionally tick the box A T O M S.KGE in dialog window (file contains KARMA GEs package necessary for correct operation of A T O M S set ) and press OK. As default, new combis are installed in bank U-A, but you can change that performing the following steps: ----Enter the modes as follows : Disc Drive Select select USB lower tab LOAD highlight file for installation A T O M S. PCG press blue button OPEN Combinations will be highlighted press blue button OPEN Bank U-A will be highlighted press red button LOAD select the target bank in the dialog window. In such case you still have to install the file A T O M S.KGE ---Enter the modes as follows : Disk Drive Select select USB lower tab LOAD highlight file for installation A T O M S.KGE and press red button LOAD now just press OK in the dialog window. "A T O M S" Combinations require the factory preload sounds. Combinations use Programs, Drum Kits and Wave Sequences from the factory preload. If the factory banks have been changed, or are not loaded, then the new Combinations will not sound correctly. If necessary, please first back up your current sounds, and then re load the factory sounds. The factory sounds are stored in the file named PRELOAD.PCG in the FACTORY folder on the internal disk. Sounds of Planet Company shall bear no liability for any damages resulted in connection with incorrect use of program and/or in effect of incorrect installation of program. On the following pages of instruction manual you will find the description of basic settings of respective combi programs. Use the controllers : Joystick, Knobs, Vector JS, Switch 1, Switch 2, Ribbon, Damper to influence the sound of selected Combi in the real time. Page 2
