4 D-Boak 14-Fret Dreadnought Sitka Spruce Genuine Mahogany In creating the artwork for this guitar, I wanted to reveal and embellish the quintessential scalloped X-bracing of the Martin Dreadnought the most beautiful and rarely seen internal structure of our flagship guitar. Tonally, I ve always loved the breathy glassine clarity and relative affordability that mahogany lends to an instrument. Lastly, the signed interior label attempts to express my gratitude to the many friends I ve made in the music industry. Thanks! 3

5 D-18 RG 14-Fret Dreadnought Sitka Spruce Genuine Mahogany One of my first art school assignments involved rendering a portrait of a Native American tribal leader from the 1800 s for a lithograph. Says Goetzl. That was over 40 years ago and, as an artist, I have been fascinated by the Native American community ever since. Through the use of my humble talent, it is my hope that the artwork produced on this guitar will endeavor to pay tribute to the dignity of these First American people and their culture that I continue to admire to this day.
