Textue Switch: This 3-position ocke switch selects the output s high-fequency oll-off point. NOTE: THE OOST FOOTSWITCH WILL ONLY FUNCTION WHEN THE VOLUME KNO IS IN THE PULLED POSITION. 12. Input: Peal-fienly tube input, 1 megohm input impeance Footswitch Jack: Plug the oost footswitch into this jack. NOTE: THE OOST FOOTSWITCH WILL ONLY FUNCTION WHEN THE VOLUME KNO IS IN THE PULLED POSITION. 2. 9V DC Out: Plug the inclue 9V DC powe supply cable into this jack to powe you 9V DC peal(s) o peal boa. Effects Loop Sen an Retun Jacks: The post-peamp Effects Loop can accommoate a wie ange of effects. The sen level is epenent on the peamp gain. Line Out Jack: The peamp Line Out is in paallel with the Effects Loop Sen an Retun jacks, it can be use to sen a tube-buffee lowimpeance (unbalance) signal to othe equipment such as mixing consoles o othe amplifies. Multiple Special 12/20 amplifies can be linke by connecting the Line Out jack to the Effects Retun of the secon amplifie. Seveal Special 12/20 s can be linke in this manne, with the fist amplifie s peamp seving as the maste peamp fo all aitional amplifies. 5. Impeance Selecto: This 3-position slie switch selects the appopiate output impeance to match you speake cabinet s impeance. 6. Speake Output Jacks: These two jacks ae wie in paallel. The Special 12/20 combo has a 16-ohm speake that is connecte to the intenal speake jack. The combo s speake emains connecte when using the extenal Speake Output jacks. When using the combo with an aitional speake cabinet, switch the Impeance selecto to 8 ohms. 7. Powe IEC Receptacle/Line Voltage Selecto: You amplifie will ship with the coect voltage setting, fuse an AC plug type fo you egion. When taveling to iffeent counties, emove the plastic potecto an select the appopiate voltage. Fo lowest noise an safest opeation, always use the coect plug type fo you egion/county, an always povie the amplifie with pope AC gouning /20-Watt High/Low Powe Voltage Selecto: Locate behin the ea panel, this switch selects the appopiate maximum voltage fo each output tube type. Set it to the 20-watt High Volt position when using 6L6 o EL34 output tubes. Set it to the 12-watt Low Volt position when using 6V6 o EL84 output tubes. (EL84 output tubes equie 6V6-to-EL84 aaptes.)
