2 Case Study #1: Kevin Jenkins Background Prior to my Ecommerce business I was in the restaurant and nightclub business for 20 years. I was blessed enough to be able to have a pretty amazing lifestyle living in Chicago, New York, Miami and Australia! I made some poor decisions and had to make a change to my career at which time I entered the industry of Collections. I ran a collection law firm for about 9 years and then the economy took a turn for the worst so I was out of work. No one would hire me and I was becoming desperate to find something to make money because I had a ton of bills to pay. Low and behold the Ecommerce bug got a hold of me! Prior to 7-Figure Cycle I was a huge failure when it came to an Amazon business. Once I applied what they were teaching and plugged into their amazing Facebook support group my Amazon business started to grow, and grow and grow! I applied what they taught and threw everything else out the door, in fact, I got out of my own way and just went on blind faith. Kevin s Tip It's amazing how simple the training is laid out. Once I got out of my own way and just applied what was being taught and stopped trying to be perfect and analyze everything, my business started to grow. 3 success that you desire. Keep it simple and do not over analyze and you will have more success than you ever imagined. Kevin s Average Day I get up in the morning and look at my numbers from the day before. I then spend the rest of the day finding more suppliers and more products to list on Amazon using the tools that is provided with the course. If I need to take some time away from the business I am still making money because people are going to Amazon and buying the products from me no matter what time of the day it is. Pretty cool when you think about it! My ecommerce business has allowed me to enjoy more time with my wife and do things together instead of working all the time and never being able to spend quality time. Personal Note I have had the opportunity to do a lot of different things in my life and be taught by a bunch of different people. What I can say about these guys is that they are the most honest and genuine people that I have ever had the privilege to spend time with. Their true passion is not how much money they personally make but rather how many people they can help make successful. 5 Kevin s Last 90 Days Kevin s 2018 Goals From what I have learned the previous year I know I am going to at least double my business sales. In fact my goal for 2018 is to generate $750,000 in sales on Amazon! I know in order for me to do this I will need to build a team of people to help me grow the business, so I will also be adding several people to my team to help me accomplish this. Kevin s Special Advice Just do it! Apply what you are being taught and don't make it difficult. They keep it very simple and give you all the tools that you need. 6 Case Study #2: Waddy Platt Background I started my journey like any other entrepreneur. Organizing leaf raking parties and snow shoveling groups, lemonade stands and farming out my paper route so I would not have to do it. I then spent my High School years building Platform tennis courts all over the Eastern Coast from DC to Maine. I then thought I better go white collar. I joined the Event Marketing Team at Philip Morris USA and did Indycar racing sponsorships and Bar night and other events for ten years. Philip Morris USA decided to go to Virginia and I decided to not go with them. I became a Realtor for ten years until I decided to sell products online in the fall of So I was in Boca Raton in October 2016 and a great friend said to me during the Tedeschi Trucks concert: So Waddy, what are you going to do for work? I was a Realtor at the time and I looked at him and said: "I am going to sell on Amazon". He looked me in the eye and said you are full of shit and from that moment on I said, "Watch Me!!!" 7 There has not been a question that has not been answered. The whining and complaining are almost never posted in the group. That alone keeps my mindset positive... Waddy s Average Day I like to look at sales and inventory and I like to know my numbers. Am I trending the way I forecasted? How do I want to grow my business? I like to touch base with my partner Stacy and determine the priorities going forward... I find it hard to know what day it is because I love what I am doing and never dread Mondays ever. 9 Case Study #3: Liz Cassidy Background I have owned my own business for over 20 years. I began Executive Coaching in 2005, and loved it. I learned Google Adwords and self-taught SEO to build my coaching business combined with hard slog cold calling. However, there is little continuity or predictability in income so I needed to find a 2nd way to generate income so that I can continue to do what I love. I saw another course on how to make money from selling physical products on Amazon 4 years ago but unfortunately, I could not get traction with the methods taught, but I was determined to succeed. I jumped from product failure to product failure following the exact methods taught by the other group. The 7 Figure Cycle guys introduced me to a whole new world of selling on Amazon. Over the next 2 years I learned, and applied, selling unsexy products in various ways. Liz s Tip They have taught me to think much, much bigger than I was thinking. Not just having one or two Private Label products sourced in bulk out of China, and hope that they are successful. Rather to have a huge range of products sourced from various locations in the USA. 10 Liz s Average Day Sleeping in till around 7am, then planning. I make contact with suppliers - time difference is an issue so I get in "early" with this task. Early on in the day I like to check my "numbers" from overnight and also to spend some time looking for new product ideas / sources. At 10am my VA starts so I make sure he is focused on his tasks for the day. Then any troubleshooting of new issues for an hour. Lunch / Coffee / Shopping - if my husband or kids, or a friend aren't available I will go on my own (I am still a girl)! In the afternoon I like to spend some time looking for new product ideas, and then wind down in the evening with my family. Personal Note Just start. Do something every day to move your business forward. Be proactive about asking for help, the team is fantastic and unselfish about helping new (and old) people. Be accountable - publish your results each month and dare to be public with your next months goals. I'm going to borrow someone elses words, because he is much better than I am at expressing what needs to happen: W.H. Murry: "This may sound too simple, but is great in consequence. Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. 13 Case Study #4: Pam Chevalier Background I a 57 year old mom of 4 amazing adult kids and wanted to quit my job as a Post Partum Doula. I LOVED the job but it was wearing on me and being up all night was getting harder the older I got. My husband is a Marriage and Family Therapist and he loves his job but he trades time for money. I was looking for something that I could make money while I was sleeping and on vacation. I am not tech savvy so wasn't sure if I could do this. I do this for Freedom. No more Post Partum Doula staying up ALL night. That s gold. I still put most of my profit back into my company as I want to grow it. I have the freedom to go on vacations with our extended family and work while I'm sitting on the beach (leaving in 2 days for Costa Rica and I won't miss a beat) or decide to leave work at home and do nothing. I have a best friend that was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, and because of this business I was the one that was able to go to EVERY Dr. appointment and test so her hubby didn't have to take time off of work. I spent the last 9 months by her side and am so thankful that I was able to have this time with her. 14 Pam s Tip The great thing about this business is that it is what you make it. You can spend as little or as much time as you want and set goals to sell $10,000 a month or $500,000 a month. It's up to you. It's not a perfect business and there will always be problems that come up but I LOVE being my own boss! I pride myself on having high quality products so I have very few problems to deal with regarding my products. I spend some time researching new products and possibly sending s.
