2 Úvod Introduction Slovenská republika vydáva nové občianske preukazy (OP). Občiansky preukaz je personalizovaný centrálne v Národnom personalizačnom centre. Ochranné prvky občianskeho preukazu zodpovedajú najvyššej úrovni ochrany, s možnosťou ľahkej kontroly a overenia pravosti. 2 The Slovak Republic is issuing new identity (ID) cards. The identity card will be persona lised at a central point, in the National Personalisation Centre. The security features of the identity card are in compliance with the highest level security standards and can be easily checked and verified.
3 Občiansky preukaz je vyrobený z viacvrstvového polykarbonátu vo formáte ID-1 a personalizuje sa metódou laserového gravírovania. Na zadnej strane sa nachádza čip. The body of the identity card is made of several polycarbonate layers and is personalised via the laser engraving method. The Chip is embeded on the reverse side! 10 Opticky variabilná farba (OVI) Optically Variable Ink (OVI) Lipové lístky vytlačené špeciálnou farbou vyznačujúcou sa zmenou farebného odtieňa (z purpurovej do zelenej) v závislosti od zmeny uhla pohľadu. The lime tree leave is printed with a special ink which changes colour from magenta to green when viewed from different angles. 10
