6 SECTION 2 INSTALLATION PART A PREPARING INSTALLATION SPACE STEP 1 CHECK FOR OBSTRUCTIONS Check for any obstructions that may interfere in installation. STEP 2 CHECK VERTICAL & HORIZONTAL INSTALLATION DIMENSIONS VERTICAL DIMENSIONS Check if top of installation space is level. If H1 H2, corrective actions may need to be considered prior to installation H1 H2 HORIZONTAL DIMENSIONS W1 If W2 W1, W1=Shade Width Note: Packing of Pivot Arm Bracket may be required W2 W1 If W2 < W1, by a value of: 0-20mm, Proceed to Part B (W1 = Shade Width) 20+, Consider corrective action to square installation space W2 Page 2.1

13 PART E SHADE INSTALLATION STEP 1 INSERT SHADE INTO BOX NOTE: Insert control end first Ensure shade is secure STEP 2 INSERT R-CLIP ONTO IDLER ADAPTER Ensure pin is clipped in securely Page 2.8

14 STEP 3 FEED THROUGH MOTOR CABLE (FOR MOTOR ONLY) STEP 4 RUN SHADE DOWN + CENTER STEP 5 TEST SHADE OPERATION For motor operation, ensure wiring is correct and motor is operating correctly. For gear operation, ensure operation is smooth. Once shade is operating correctly, proceed to SECTION 2 / Part G. Page 2.9

19 STEP 10 TIGHTEN CLAMPS ONTO WEIGHT BAR STEP 11 REMOVE COVER OF PIVOT ARM PIVOT POINT AND REMOVE RETAINING PIN THEN RE INSTALL COVER NOTE: ARMS SHOULD BE FREE TO MOVE ONE PIN IS REMOVED Page 2.14

20 PART G INSERT BOX / FASCIA STEP 1 SWING BOX COVER INTO BOX TOP AND CLIP INTO PLACE STEP 2 SECURE COVER AT BOTH ENDS (IF REQUIRED) Page 2.15

21 STEP 3 TEST SHADE OPERATION NOTE: Ensure weight bar has correct clearance and that fabric does not rub against box cover. Page 2.16

23 SECTION 3 TROUBLESHOOTING NO. PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION 1 Shade rolled up for an extended period of time. Installation is not square. Leave shade down for 1 4 hours; most ripples should disappear. Check box/brackets & shade roll are installed level. Ripples along sides of fabric 2 Shade does not fully open / jams 3 Uneven/twisted weight bar Fabric permanently damaged due to inadequate handling during assembly, transportation, installation or use. Spring inside pivot arms has been damaged. Crank may be damaged. Incorrect motor limits used. Shade roll is not level, thus weight bar appears uneven. Shade has been operated in excessive wind conditions. Fabric is not installed straight. Replace fabric and ensure it is handled with care. Replace arms. Replace crank. Refer to motor instructions to reset stop limits. Ensure shade is installed level. Check shade roll when the shade is fully raised. If ripples are evident on roll, open shade fully (without the presence of wind) to allow the shade to track down evenly. Raise and lower shade a number of times to check operation. Ensure fabric is assembled straight onto tube and weight bar. 4 Weight bar lifts up near bottom limit (motor control) Motor is FT (Fabric Tension) Mode Refer to motor instructions to deactivate FT Mode Page Copyright 2017
