9 YEARS 8 / 9 / 10 BOOKLIST Years 8 10 will work with a Multi-Age Middle School. Students in Years 9 and 10 must complete the core subjects (English, Maths, Science, History, Geography and HPE). Students in Years 9 & 10 will be able to participate in an elective subject. Please note that this booklist is for core subjects and additional fees apply to some elective subjects. Students will be notified of these fees when they enrol in the subject. The School runs a Student Resource Scheme and their textbooks will be hired out for the school year. These books must be returned in good condition at the conclusion of the school year or restitution will be claimed. All students should have the following materials to be used in all subject areas: Scientific Calculator (model Canon/ Casio fx82 or similar) Shoes with a predominately leather upper for Science / Manual Arts / Home Ec Laced sports shoes for PE & Sport Ear phones (earplug style will do) Blue and red biros HB pencils 12 (approx 3 per term as a guide only) 2 x 2B pencils Pencil Sharpener Wooden Ruler - 30cm in good condition Rubbers plain white Colouring pencils / felts 1 pack Highlighters (minimum 4 different colours) 4 glue sticks (spread out over the year) Scissors Pencil Case 1 x 8gb USB All personal belongings MUST be clearly labelled with the child s name and year level only. In 2019 the standard fee will be $ which is broken up into a $70.00 component for the Textbook and Resource Scheme and $30.00 for the Book Pack Scheme. The Book Pack Scheme will cover the cost of all exercise books, manilla folders, manilla wallets, lined paper, display folders and document protectors needed for the entire year. This cost structure was made after consultation with parents, staff and the P & C Association. 9
