If I do not like a story, commonly, I do not ever finish reading it.i liked and cared about the characters, I wanted to find out what would happen next and I felt fully exchanged with, satisfied when finished with the story, wanting more.i look forward to more stories from the author, I am sure you will too! I had already read the first book in this series and liked it so much I went ahead and bought the whole collection. The next two books in the series didn't disappoint. They were equally full of the same mystery and suspense that kept my attention as the first. I found the bits of humor that the author has peppered throughout the book very entertaining and added a bit of fun to the whole thing. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a good page turner. I was in withdrawal from book number 10 until I came across books 11 & 12 bought them & bought number 13 coming out January 30th I have not read many authors able to write such an engrossing story line as this woman I can't put the books down. I'm writing this at 1AM & know if I go offline & start reading book 11 I'll be up till I finish it!her plot is strong & always interesting right from book 1. Until Jennifer came into my life I didn't know why I didn't like the first book in a series. It's because the author spends so much time setting up the plot I get bored. Jennifer just starts the story, yes she does give some background about the characters, but not endlessly. Her characters are believable & Sarah, her heroine, isn't your normal helpless female. She is strong enough to take the lumps life gives you & move on sure sometimes reluctantly but she puts one foot in front of the other no matter how heart sick she is feeling. I can relate to this. Carter her partner is a bit older than her but very believable as the detective who hires her to train her. He is a bit grumpy like most men & certainly keeps his feelings to himself but they make a great team.if you are looking for an interesting mystery with a great story & good characters then I highly recommend these books. The first 2 volumes in this Sarah Woods series is very good. The author has edited very well and it has a great storyline. But #3 was the best with a very good ending that while I suspected it, made me glad when it came about. No, not gonna tell, although anyone who has read the latest books already know. Maybe I am just a romantic optimist, but I am also a person who knows all situations don't always end up in "forever after".people often work together and form lasting, deep friendships, not necessarily romance.this author has captured this, and conveyed it to her readers so very well, that

4 even I became convinced that the next book would be involved with Max and Sarah's new world...until the very last page!jennings knows how to capture her readers... forward to the next novel. I am headed there now! Thanks, Jennifer, for a wild, but believable ride! Iâ m posting this review on all the books in this series that I have read on my Kindle â and I have read all 16 of them at this point! The 17th book is coming out soon, and I canâ t wait for it! I got hooked on this series and read all the published books in less than a month. I enjoy reading series of books in chronological order when I discover a new author, and this series doesnâ t disappoint. I enjoy the character development of Sarah and Carter, and every single mystery has been interesting and different from the others. I highly recommend this series for anyone who is a murder mystery fan! I've read several of the Volumes in the Sarah Woods series and gone back for more. She's an engaging character and the cases she and her PI partner solve are often a little different from the norm. I like the shorter stories in a 3 volume set. I think I'd like to hang out with Sarah. I like all of the Sarah Woods books because they are quick, easy reads. It also helps that Sarah is a likeable character. I previously read books 1-6, purchased as a set, and I plan to continue on with the series going forward. I recommend you read them in order just so you have background on all of the characters.
