Taylor created The Four-Way Test. He was president of the club in The test, which has been translated into more than 100 languages, asks the following questions: Of the things we think, say or do Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Ches Perry, of ROTARY/One became the first general secretary of the newly formed international office. The Rotary Club of Chicago, operating as ROTARY/One & the world's first service club has for 114 years remained dedicated to the Rotary Movement and its continued growth to over 200 countries.
