1 From Folder R-29 Gudex Cemetery Data collected Sept. 26, 1976 Data collected by Jean R. Rentmeister, Burt Rentmeister, and Ruth S. Worthing Introductory information written by the same Entered on computer by S. Connie Halbur, February, 2005 Translations by S. Connie Halbur Notes: NG = Not Given When the year of death is given as 0000, that means that is was not given or was not readable. The data collectors notes are in brackets, but not in italics. When a note is written in italics, it is that of S. Connie Halbur. The data is given in three arrangements: As copied Alphabetical order Chronological order, by date of death Town of Ashford, Fond du Lac County, Section 2. Location: This cemetery is located on County Hwy V, about 3 miles north of Campbellsport. The cemetery is on the west side of the Hwy just over the crest of a hill, at the bottom of which is a railroad crossing. [Note: Since this was written, the tracks have been removed.] History: Tobias and Mary Ann Schupe sold one acre for $20.00 June 8, This cemetery is partially taken care of as there is a path of sorts to walk on and a veteran marker on one of the graves. The rest, however, is overgrown. There are probably more graves to be found IF the area could be cleaned up. Stones were copied as encountered.
