From initial concept to delivery, our team offer excellent design advice coupled with focus, creativity and attention to detail working closely with clients to achieve the most beautiful and exclusive piece of Tipperary Crystal. 3 When designing trophies I believe the most impor tant point is to capture something of the spirit of the event. I would hope this is evident in my work for the Sony Ericsson Tennis Trophy - from concept sketches and presentation drawing to the final piece. 9 PRESTIGE COLLECTION NEW 2010 / Artist Impression CHRISTY O CONNOR Ormond 14 Trophy Bowl Rossmore 14 Trophy Bowl Christy O Connor Irish golfing legend Christy O'Connor Senior knows much about trophies - he has had plenty of first-hand experience of them over recent decades. Christy was the natural first choice for Tipperary Crystal to collaborate with in designing a range of cut-glass trophies for presentation at golfing, and other events. During a career that spanned four decades, Christy won 24 titles on the European Tour, including the 1956 and 1959 British Masters and 20 international tournaments, including 10 Irish PGA titles. He also won eight times on the European senior circuit and Slieve Darragh 14 Trophy Bowl participated in 10 Ryder Cup teams for Great Britain and Ireland, as well as Ireland s winning team in the Canada Cup. Christy was the second only Irish man to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2009.
