Armed with fairy lights, crimson baubles and bright decorations, they raced through the packed streets, leaving bright lights and joyful amazement in their wake. This beaming group has come straight from Santa s workshop to share with you their pleasure and excitement. Advent preparations promise to be festive, friendly and flamboyant. Each little sprite brings its own supply of lights. As they come from the four corners of town, all dressed in red, skipping and twirling. Hanging in trees or from façades, they delight children, who can t get enough of their numerous pranks. Their enthusiasm is so contagious that everyone is now busy erecting the most exuberant, and most extravagant Christmas trees! 14 Step 1 First, get settled in your chair. Think through the different groups of illuminations, and define a tailored programme for each group. A B ZONE A CITY CENTRE This group is on from 4 pm to 10 am, with a shut-off time from midnight to 7 am. ZONE B RESIDENTIAL AREA This group is on from 7 pm to 10 pm continuously, without shut-off time. Step 2 You can select programming aspects to suit your needs: 1) Choice of period during which the lights are on (e.g. from 6 pm to 9 am) 2) Choice of shut-off time (e.g. from 11 pm to 6 am) 3) Selection of active period (e.g. from 6 December to 10 January) 4) Selection of four continuous lighting days, without shut-off time (e.g. Christmas Eve) PM 23 PM 6 AM 9 AM PM 23 PM 6 AM 9 AM PM 9 AM CONTINUOUS LIGHTING DAY ACTIVE PERIOD 1 st 18 PM 23 PM 6 AM 9 AM SHUT-OFF TIME LIGHTS ON TIME Step 3 Next, go to the illuminations and assign each decoration detected by the Plug & Light Pass to the corresponding group.
