10 TERMS AND CONDITIONS (If you do not understand our conditions, PLEASE ASK) 1. All equipment hired for a weekend must be collected before 3pm Friday and returned by Monday 3pm. All equipment hired on a weekday needs to be returned before 3pm the following day. Late returns charged per item per day. No exceptions. 2. Any loss, breakage or theft is the customer s responsibility and replacement costs will be paid by the customer on Monday after the function (no exceptions). 3. All equipment and linen needs to be opened and checked before leaving our premises. All linen stained, with prestik, discolored, burnt or with candle wax, the replacement cost will be paid by the customer on the day of return. Any damages, breakages and loss to equipment, the replacement cost will be paid by the customer on the day of return. 4. All equipment and linen to be returned clean. No exceptions. 5. Any injuries or deaths sustained by any individual, or damage to their property using our equipment or services or visiting our premises will be solely the responsibility of the individual or individuals concerned. 6. Please note that a deposit is required on all items hired with a certified proof of residence and ID. No Exceptions. 7. The drivers are instructed not to off load any equipment before payment or proof of payment is given. 8. All cancellations will forfeit all monies paid. Please only place your order if you are 100% sure you need the full order. No Exceptions 9. We cannot be held responsible for items delivered to function venues or private homes. It is solely the responsibility of the person who hires the items. Replacement will be charged on all items missing. 10. We cannot be held responsible for any items once they have left our premises, you need to check them whether you are in a hurry or not. Please do not sign for any items if you are not satisfied with them. 11. Chair covers are made to fit our chairs only. If you are using your own chairs, please ensure that our chair covers fit your chairs. No refunds. 12. It is the responsibility of the individuals who hire the equipment or makes use of our balloon service to ensure collection of your order on time. It is not the responsibility of Smiths or any of their staff members to phone, or fax a reminder of collection. We do not guarantee balloons once they leave our premises. 13. Orders not collected within in our working hours will forfeit all monies paid. 14. Round tables and cocktail tables are wooden, they require tablecloths and will not be loaded without a waterproof cover. You are required to bring your own ropes for loading purposes. 15. DEPOSITS WILL ONLY BE REFUNDED ON PRESENTATION OF YOUR INVOICE. 16. All orders requiring delivery will be done a day or more prior to your function. 17. No rain checks due to inclement weather. 18. No orders will be given to any customers who do not abide by our conditions. No orders will be given out until our Terms and Conditions are read and signed for.
