1 [Type text] Page 1 10 High Level Puzzles set 4(BANKERSWAY.COM) Puzzle 1: Twelve persons A, B, C, D, E, F, H, J, K, L, M and P are sitting around a circular table and all of them facing centre. There are six benches i.e. S1, S2, S3, S4, S5 and S6 around the table and two persons sit on each bench. Bench S3 is on immediate left of S6. There are two benches between S3 and S4. E sits on fourth to the right of C, who sits on bench S2. There are three persons between C and F. Both H and F is an immediate neighbour of A. F sits fourth to the right of E, who is sitting immediate left of L. Bench S2 is between bench S5 and S4. D sits on neither S2 nor S6. J sits in the same banch with C. There are three persons between M and P. A is sitting on the bench S1. M is sitting second to the left of F. B sits on neither S4 nor S6. Puzzle 2: M, N, O, P, Q, R and S are seven boxes. They are kept one above the other but not necessarily in the same order. Each box contains different things i.e. Soaps, Paints, Bags, Books, Biscuits, Chocolates and Crackers. The each box is in different colors i.e. Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Orange and White. There are only three boxes are kept between P and S. Only one box is kept between Q and M. S is kept an immediately below the Chocolate box. Only one box is kept between Chocolate box and M, which is an Orange in color. There are three boxes between Red and Yellow color boxes. The S is not kept in the bottom of the stack. Q is kept above M. Only three boxes are kept between Crackers box and Soap box. Crackers box is kept an immediately above Q and in Yellow in color. The S box is not in Pink color. The box R is kept immediately below the books box. The box Q is in neither White nor Green color. Paint box is in Pink color and kept immediately above biscuits box. The box N has neither Bags nor Crackers. The Biscuits box is not in Green color.

2 Puzzle 3: There are different Athletic events which are to be held from Monday to Sunday, such that one event is held to be on one day. The Athletic events are Long Jump, High Jump, 100m running, 400m running, Javelin, Shot put and Discus throw. In each of these events different number of players are participated viz. 25, 32, 35, 48, 50, 67 and 75, but not necessarily in the same order. Discus throw is to be held on Friday. There are 48 participants took part on Sunday. Javelin is not to be held on Saturday. Only one event is held between Shot put and Discus throw. Neither lowest number of players nor highest number of players is participating on Monday. The event in which 35 players took part held immediately after the one in which 75 players took part. The number of event held between 100m running and Long Jump is same as between 400m running and 100m running. The 100m running event has 15 participants more than that the shot put event. High Jump is held before 100m running. There are 67 participants took part in Long Jump. There are 50 participants are took part on Thursday. The Shot put is not to be held on the last day of the event. Puzzle 4: A wooden Shelf contains five racks, placed one above other and numbered from 1 to 5 from bottom to top. Each racks in different colors i.e. Pink, Blue, Orange, Purple and Grey, not necessarily in the same order. Each rack contains certain Books and Records. The total number of Books and Records is 280. There is only one rack between pink and orange colored rack. There are 83 books and records in rack 1. Pink color rack is not an odd numbered rack. One rack contains equal number of books and records but it is not an orange colored rack. The Blue colored rack is an odd numbered rack. Purple colored rack is immediately below the rack, in which contains equal number of books and records. The Grey colored rack is above the Purple colored rack.the rack 3 contains 22 records. The number of records in purple colored rack is equal to the total number of books and records in the pink rack. Blue rack contains 65 books and records. Rack 3 contains not less than 30 books. The rack 4 contains 25 books. One rack contains 42 books and records but it is not immediately above the one, which contains maximum number of books and records. The rack 3 contains either 51 or 52 books and records. The blue rack contains 7 books less than the purple rack and 10 records more than the orange rack.

3 Puzzle 5: PV Sindhu, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Lionel Messi, Amitabh Bachchan, Rohit Sharma, Ashwin, Anushka Sharma, Kangana Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Akshay Kumar are 12 persons sitting in two rows, among them PV Sindhu, Ravindra Jadeja, Lionel Messi, Rohit Sharma, Kangana Ranaut and Madhuri Dixit are facing north while the remaining are facing south. Each person faces exactly one person in the other row. Each one of them appointed as brand ambassador for different companies they are, Equitas Bank, Zeven, Intex, One Plus, Micromax, Tata Motors, Gionee, Hublot Watch, Huawei, CRPF, Reebok and Colgate (not necessarily in the same order) and each company function held at different cities among Mumbai, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Jaipur, Patna, Shimla and Bangalore (again not necessarily in the same order). (i) The one who is brand ambassador for Micromax is attend function in Chennai and is facing Rohit Sharma. None of Virat Kohli, Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchanis a brand ambassador for Micromax or Equitas Bank. The persons who attend function in Kolkata and Bangalore are the immediate neighbours of Anil Kapoor. (ii) Virat Kohli is second to the right of Ashwin, who attend the function in Hyderabad. Virat Kohliis a brand ambassador for Gionee Company and faces the person who is attended the function in Patna, who is third to the right of Lionel Messi. Neither PV Sindhu nor Lionel Messiare abrand ambassador of ZevenCompanyor attend the function inindore. (iii) Madhuri Dixitis abrand ambassador forintex Company, sits second to the right of the person who is a brand ambassador for CRPF, who faces the person attend the function in Bangalore, None of them sits at an extreme end. (iv) The ZevenCompany conduct the function in Shimla, the person who is a brand ambassador for Zeven Companysits as far as possible from Lionel Messi. (v) Akshay Kumar is a brand ambassador for Tata Motors Company, sits opposite to the person who is the brand ambassador for Reebok Company, who is an immediate neighbour of the person sitting at an extreme end. (vi) The Gionee and One PlusCompany conduct the function in Kolkata and Mumbai respectively. The persons who are a brand ambassador for Tata MotorsCompanyand One PlusCompanyface the same direction. (vii) Rohit Sharma is the brand ambassador for Hublot WatchCompanyand attends the function in Lucknow, sits equidistant in the same row of the person who is the brand ambassador forhuaweicompanyand the person who attends the function in Indore. (viii) The person who attends the function in Jaipur is opposite to the one who attends the function in Mumbai and second to the left of the person who attendsthe function in Lucknow. PV Sindhu, who is not a brand ambassador for Reebok company, is third to the left of Kangana Ranaut; and neither of them are a brand ambassador for Zeven company.

Puzzle 6: There are seven persons Mahesh, Akilan, Pandiyan, Lenin, Suresh, Indran and Anand who participated in a competitive exam which started on Monday and ended on Sunday. In the first round of the examination, each of them got different ranks, First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh, but not necessarily in the same order. They uses different Anti Virus programs, Norton Anti Virus, K7 Anti Virus, Kaspersky Anti Virus, ESET Anti Virus, McAfee Anti Virus, Avast Anti Virus and Panda Anti Virus, but not necessarily in the same order. Akilan did not write exam on the day either immediately before or immediately after the exam of Lenin, who does not use either McAfee Anti Virus or Norton Anti Virus or ESET Anti Virus program. Two exams were held between the exam of Anand and Indran, neither of whom wrote on Monday. There was one exam between the exams of Lenin and Pandiyan. But Pandiyan s exam did not happen either on Monday or on Wednesday. Pandiyanuses K7 Anti Virusprogram and got First rank. The one, who got Thirdrank wrote exam on the last day of examination, uses Kaspersky Anti Virus program. Sureshwrote exam immediately after Pandiyan and he uses Norton Anti Virus program. Mahesh does not usemcafee Anti Virusprogram and got Fourth rank. Lenin did not get either Seventh rank or Sixth rank. The one who got Fifth rank was wrote the exam immediately after the one who gotfirst rank. Anand, who uses Avast Anti Virus, wrote exam on the fourth day of the examination but got neither First nor Second rank. Puzzle 7: In a global summit, tencountry Prime Ministers are sitting in two parallel rows of six seats each. One seat is vacant in each row. Alexis Tsipras, António Costa, Lee Hsien Loong, Najib Razak and Narendra Modi are sitting in row-1 facing south. Xi Jinping, Theresa May, Sheikh Hasina, Édouard Philippe and Malcolm Turnbull are facing north. Each prime

(x). Najib Razak faces Sheikh Hasina. Vacant seats are not opposite to each other. (xi). Two seats are there between Lee Hsien Loong and António Costa, who sits third right of the one who support for UK. (xii). The one who support Australia faces the one who support Russia. (xiii). The persons who support forsouth Africa and India are adjacent to each other. (xvi). Vacant seat of row 1 is not an immediate neighbour of Najib Razak. (xv). Theresa May sits at one of the extreme ends of the row. Sheikh Hasina does not support for South Africa and India. (xvi). Vacant seat of row-1 does not face Édouard Philippe who doesn t sit at any of the extreme ends of the row. Puzzle 8: Hockey World LeagueFourteen teams Australia Team, China Team, France Team, Germany Team, Argentina Team, India Team, Italy Team, Japan Team, Malaysia Team, Pakistan Team, Russia Team, Spain Team, Chile Team and Brazil Team stay in an eight stored building. Each floor has 2 flats numbered as 1 or 2 such that all same numbered flats are in the same column. The floors are numbered 1-8 from bottom to top. There are 2 vacant flats in the building. It is also known that: (i). Japan Team and Italy Team live on the same floor. (ii). Only one team stays above Australia Team. (iii). Only 3 teams stay above Japan Team. (iv). India Team and Malaysia Team live on the floor that is just below a floor which has a vacant flat.

None of the flats above Germany Team's floor is vacant. (viii). Malaysia Team and Italy Team have same flat numbers. (ix). Sum of China Team and Malaysia Team s floor number is equal to Chile Teams floor number. (x). Not more than 4 teams stay above Chile Team. (xi). Russia Team does not live below China Team. (xii). France Team and Australia Team do not have the same flat number as Argentina Team s. (xiii). Only 4 teams stay below Pakistan Team. (xiv). Germany Team, Chile Team and Pakistan Team have the same flat numbers. (xv). Brazil Team has the same flat number as China Team. Puzzle 9: A Medical Representative (MR) of a company has to meet seven Doctors A, B, C, D, E, F and G on a particular day between 9.00 am to 3.25 pm. Each Doctor is in different specialization viz. Neurologist, Nephrologists, Pediatrician, Cardiologist, Dentist, Gynaecologists and Oncologist. He spends 30 minutes with each doctor and keeps a gap of 25 minutes between two appointments for travel. After fifth visits he takes another 25 minutes break for a lunch. An MR has to meet doctor A, who is an Oncologist, immediately before E but immediately after F, who is the third doctor to meet. There are two doctors are in between Oncologist and Pediatrician. B is not the last doctor to meet the MR. D is neither a Pediatrician nor Gynaecologists. G doesn t give time to the MR before 9.30 am and after am. The sixth doctor to meet the MR is a Neurologist. 7 Puzzle 10: B, D, H, J, P, S and T are seven students studying in seven different schools i.e. St.Anne s, St.Joseph, Sri Amrita, Nava Bharath, KendriyaVidyalaya, Cauvery Global and BalaVidyaMandir, but not necessarily in the same order. They have a special class on one day from Monday to Sunday. No two students have classes on the same day. S is studying in Cauvery Global and he does not have special class on Friday or Wednesday. The one who study in KendriyaVidyalaya has special class on Tuesday. H is studying in BalaVidyaMandir and has a special class on Sunday. D is studying neitherin Nava Bharath nor in Sri Amrita. T and P do not study in St.Anne s and do not have classes on Wednesday. The one who study in St.Anne s is have a class immediately after P. B is studyingin St.Joseph and have a class on Monday.
