7 CONCLUSIONS Data on abundance and distribution : Population estimate Georeferenced data But few data on : Issues : Environmental criteria (bathymetry, T C, salinity...) Number of stranding (and precise location) Migration corridors Many publications / reports / data are not available on internet, or are not translated and transmitted on a large scale Many data are not usable (eg. Former/out off subject/out of area data) Concentrate our efforts on : Finding more recent publications Focusing on database (regularly updated) and campaign reports Opening Discussion: Additional available marine mammal datasets
