1 Summary Report for Sunday, September 10, 2017

2 More than 120 citizen scientists did a terrific job recording Nahant s coastal biodiversity! Participants from over 18 cities completed 48 data sheets with over 600 observations about local organisms from 6 of Nahant s beaches. Volunteers helped the participants identify a total of 60 coastal species. Participants and volunteers shared their observations on the Nahant Coastal Biodiversity inaturalist project: inaturalist is an online community where citizen scientists can share their observations of biodiversity to be identified and used in scientific research. This project is ongoing on inaturalist, so feel free to continue adding observations!
