The path follows the ridge of an ancient sand dune through a beautiful longleaf pine ecosystem. We ll also look for rusty lyonia, a rare plant considered critically imperiled in South Carolina, which is thriving along this winding trail. Reservations required. Thursday March 7, :00am-11:00am Daughters of the American Revolution Dedication Ceremony Meet at Montpelier Cemetery Please join the Conservancy and the Daughters of the American Revolution at the Montpelier Cemetery (next to the Canoe Club Pool) for the unveiling of a marker that recognizes Elizabeth Screven, wife of Revolutionary War soldier John Screven, as a supporter of the Patriot cause. 12 march Thursday March 7, 2019 the where we will be Saturday March 9, 2019 Meet at Sunday March 10, 2019 Half & Full Marathon The popular Palmetto Bluff Marathon, Half- Marathon and 10K races start in the heart of Wilson Village and travel along a tree-shaded course hidden away among an intricate maze of rivers, islands and maritime forest. Palmetto Bluff is the best of the South Carolina Lowcountry, 20,000 acres that remain virtually undisturbed and home to some of the most beautiful running courses and trails in the region. Race proceeds benefit the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy.
