Since we sell materials directly to our customers, avoiding any additional retail mark-up, we can pass any savings directly to our customers. To ensure the quality of our materials, we've invited Mr. Bert Nienhuis (former Nienhuis Montessori CEO) to be our Corporate Advisor & Director. Starting from 3/1/2007, all of our materials are made based on Mr. Nienhuis' newest approved blueprints. To control our new premium quality, our own factory in Shanghai successfully earned the UKAS ISO 9001 Quality Control Certification in 2007 and ISO Environmental Management Certification in 2008 from the International Standards Organization (ISO) and the United Kingdom National Quality Association. All of our products have been tested at Rheinland Laboratory in Germany and Intertek Laboratory in UK, and have passed all tests under the European Union Toy Safety Standards. With the opening of our new 100,000 sq-ft factory in China and 13,000 sq-ft distribution center in USA, we are on our way to becoming one of the largest Montessori materials suppliers in the world. ABOUT OUR MATERIALS & FURNITURE All Montessori Outlet premium materials are made from brand new raw materials imported from Europe and North America to our wholly owned manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China. The imported raw materials include Beechwood from Germany, Baltic birch plywood from Russia, and water based finishes from Canada. All of our materials are brand new and have never been used. They are safe and durable. All Montessori Outlet premium materials are tested by the Rheinland Laboratory in Germany, and have passed all tests based upon European Union and United States Toy Safety Standards. Our factory may be the only one in the industry implementing Water Based Finishing technology. Water Based Finishing is currently the most advanced painting technology which is strongly promoted by the European Union because it is considered to be Heavy Metal chemical free (non-toxic) and environmentally friendly.
