2 company profile Ras-Al-Khaimah maybe one of the smaller Arab Emirates bordering the Gulf but it is home for RAK Ceramics headquarters that is now one of the most successful ceramic and porcelain tiles and sanitaryware organisations in the world. Established in 1991, we have grown at an astonishing rate. From nothing the factory, which is predominately dedicated to tile production, now employs in excess of 4,000 people and occupies an ever-expanding plant across 1,600,000m 2 with a present capacity of 50,000,000m 2 of wall and floor tiles and 2.5 million pieces of sanitaryware per annum. Our sanitaryware division with its 3 state of the art plants equipped with High and Medium Pressure casting machines, computerised robot spraying together with its advanced computerised kilns and highly trained man power, produces some of the finest sanitaryware products with European and American designs in mind. Exclusive dealer programme ranges from displaying 3 suites to our platinum level that 5 suites and 5 tile ranges. In 1993 RAK Ceramics began producing sanitaryware, acrylic baths and fireclay kitchen sinks. Production is in excess of 7,000 pieces per day creating the largest and most exclusive range of models in the ceramic world. RAK Ceramics exports to 135 countries worldwide and continuously has ongoing plans to extend product ranges into other areas of the industry. RAK Ceramics have other manufacturing plants in China, Bangladesh, India and Sudan to satisfy the demands of these localised markets. Global production is currently 300,000m 2 of tiles per day. Having developed a support system and hidden cistern with push button flush you are able to purchase all our stylish products without installation problems. SUPPORT SYSTEM Support System For wall hung and back to wall products our support system is required. It may be necessary to fix cross members between existing joists that must be the same as existing section size, properly fixed to provide support. This support system is priced separately; please contact your local RAK Ceramics Dealer for details. Hidden Cistern To complete the discrete, space saving design our hidden cistern sits within a recess or boxing leaving only a stylish dual push button flush on view. MINI NOVA BASIN + CABINET Fitting Instructions In most cases RAK Ceramics WC s comply with WRAS regulations (if you are not sure check with RAK Ceramics UK) and are provided with instructions. Please ensure your installer reads these before fitting. Our cisterns are assembled and tested before leaving the factory; the installer must check the cistern is water tight before final connection.
