Asokan have joined as Lecturer in, erstwhile REC in I contributed for the development of laboratories such as Production Process lab, CNC lab, CAD/CAM labs subsequently. My area of research during my doctoral studies was Flexible manufacturing systems continue to guide research scholars in the area of operations management, machining optimization. I have developed master cam profile for the nearby Small scale industries BHEL. Also I worked as coordinator for the defense project titled Sarvatra Bridge launching mechanism for BHEL,. I have guided 14 Ph.D scholars guiding 3 scholars published 60 international journals.
