2 INTRODUCING SHAKESPEARE for KS3 PLAYS l PLAYERS l THEATRES l WRITERS THE LIFE & TIMES OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE This useful introduction, specially written for KS3, introduces pupils to Shakespeare s England and to Shakespeare s theatre. Each A3 chart (297x420 mm) is printed in colour. Twelve black and white A4 worksheets (which may be photocopied) explore the ideas in each chart. The A3 colour Wall Charts provide an interesting classroom focus and may be integrated with pupils own writing to make an effective classroom display. The A4 worksheets guide pupils through the essential features of the story and help to focus pupils attention on the wall displays.
