Hexapods Thanks to its strong experience in metrology and positioning, SYMETRIE has developed a range of high accuracy and motion hexapods. Fitting the most exigent industries, the hexapod kinematics allows an extremely precise motion with the best guarantees of stiffness and stability. On-site dimensional control SYMETRIE realizes measurement services in your offices thanks to the latest generation of laser tracker, laser interferometer and electronic levels. Applications: product 3D measurement, machine tools calibration and special measurements. Products & software We offer a range of positioning and measurement products and software, which provide excellent accuracy and quality: Dimensional sensors Accuracy components Electronic levels (from WYLER, Switzerland) Piezo nanopositioners (from MICRONIX, USA) Our activity is to design, assemble, test and control positioning and measurement systems for which following skills are needed: mechanical, electrical, motion control, measurement and testing, software. SYMETRIE also protects its industrial innovations with patents that help us to contribute to some famous projects especially in the nuclear, naval, scientific and space industries. Reactivity With a reactive team of qualified engineers, SYMETRIE reacts promptly to ensure that if delays occur they are kept to minimum. The selection of qualified suppliers contributes to the respect of the deadlines. SYMETRIE s project team edits a monthly report to present the advancements of the project to the customer. Quality Following the ISO 9001 standard, SYMETRIE guarantees to its customers the best delays and quality in realization and maintenance of their manufactured systems. In 2007, SYMETRIE won the French Award of Metrology. SYMETRIE was founded by Olivier Lapierre and Thierry Roux who have been working for the French National Laboratory of Metrology and Tests (LNE) (equivalent to NPL in UK or NIST in the US) for 15 years. SYMETRIE integrates a qualification room with all efficient measurement tools, which are annually certified by LNE. For better quality and external control, SYMETRIE s facilities are located in front of LNE. Customers are welcome to come and visit us at their convenience. We will be happy to provide all insurance and quality manual procedures. 1.5 OUR EQUIPMENTS SYMETRIE's premises in Nimes are 900 m² dedicated to the design, manufacturing, assembling and qualification of the developed systems.
