2 Partners for International Business Instrument of Dutch economic diplomacy. A PIB-programme: public-private partnership between the Dutch government and a number of private parties (a.o. companies, knowledge institutes, local and regional governments) Aim: cooperation in projects and activities with parties in selected countries and regions, in order to stimulate economic growth and the development and exchange of knowledge and insights. Generally, a PIB runs for 3 years. Ours still has 2 to go.

7 Introduction Dutch INCERT is the network organization in The Netherlands that connects scientific research, technological innovation and education with the transition to electric road transport. Founded in 2008 by the three Dutch Universities of Technology (TU Eindhoven, TU Twente and TU Delft) and the Universities of Applied Sciences in Rotterdam and Arnhem/Nijmegen (HRo and HAN). Current activity Setting up a knowledge-oriented project on heavy duty electric trucks for regional/intrahub and international transport. The aim of the project is to create a strategic research agenda. This agenda will be available for the Dutch and Austrian governments to help formulate an appropriate regulatory framework.

8 Research question Which issues need to be resolved to enable zero-emission heavy duty trucks (40 tons). The research agenda examines issues in three fields: technical, financial/economic and social. Dutch INCERT is looking for Stakeholders like you, to: I) develop the strategic research agenda by means of interviews with both Austrian and Dutch stakeholders. Dutch interviews are almost completed. II) set-up an exciting demonstration project Smart etruck Corridor Rotterdam-Vienna, part of this demo is driving with an etruck from Rotterdam-Vienna!
