6 THE CONFERENCE Innovation: Modernising traditional medicine & securing access to future s energy The vision of Indonesia and China is to yield interplay cooperation in modernising their traditional food and medicine production shall benefit the world, apparently in higher stance than any other bilaterall partnershipp can attain. Moreover, thanks to the awareness for the global environmental capacities to sustain future generations prosperity, the scientists of both countries are gearing to diversify our access to energy, ensuring us to have higher capacities in using it more wisely. The vicinity 50 participants are projected to come from: One ministerial leader from Ristek, which include two officers in charge of Science and Technology (one participant at the department or bureau level, another accompanying officer) ); Three participants from each of eight institutions/agencies (Batan, Bakosurtanal, Bapeten, BPPT, BSN, LIPI, Lapan, and Eijkman Institute); Five participants from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China; and two participants from each of four institutions/agencies of China. CONFERENCE AGENDA The conference agenda is to study and discuss together on: Addressing current potentials on collaborations in wide array of practicalities for the development of renewable energy technologies and its innovation. The technologies and products of innovation on traditional medicine, medicinal plants/herbal, innovation of many kinds of staple plants, and the way of rice growing and other plants. To discuss the link up and mechanism of 2011 Indonesia China Science and Technology Week On site visit to Bio prospecting Laboratory in Puspiptek.

7 THE EXHIBITION Innovation: Exposuring the essentials progress of energy and herbal medicines Seeing is believing. This exhibition rewards the audience the possibility to witness about 100 exhibitors of Indonesian and Chinese energy and herbal medicine innovators. From policy domain proponent, entrepreneurs, and of course, scientists and developers, the exhibitors are clinched to show the fullness of the two regional strengths that ready to serve the world. Scientific Research, Market Analysis Conservation & Collection Processing, Review Analysis Mass Production and delivery Presentation And improvement Some elements of innovation cycle, the improvement of energy as well as herbal medicines: we shall see more than these.

9 THE FUNDING Equal Partnership Indonesia and China would cover the cost event together, namely, Chinese Representatives shall coordinate the Chinese delegates to cover their participants own cost for international flight and accommodation, and Indonesiann Party will provide expenses of organising the conference agenda, local visit which covers venue rental, documents and devices, working meals and local transportation.
