2 28 th EICF International Conference on Investment Casting 15-18, Palazzo Dei Congressi, Lugano, Switzerland The conference organised by European Investment Casters Federation, and in association with Precicast SA, will provide industry with latest information on markets and technical advances to maintain industry s predominance in precision manufacture. An exposition will allow suppliers to exhibit ir products and meet new potential customers. This will run continuously throughout conference with exception of plenary session on Monday morning. The conference will open with a presentation on international market dynamics by Prof. Stephane Garelli, Professor of World Competitiveness at IMD Business School, University of Lausanne. Following opening presentation, conference will proceed with a review of industry's major market sectors and challenges facing industry from supply issues and competitive industries. Following plenary session conference will continue with technical seminars in two adjacent halls. The seminars have been arranged to allow delegates to select appropriate lectures according to ir interests. To give added value to event, optional industrial visits have been arranged to allow delegates to visit Fonderia Perseo art foundry, Georg Fischer high speed machining facility and excursions to AgustaWestland helicopter assembly or Maserati sports car production factory.
