ACTIVITY REPORT NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCED COMPUTING TECHNOLOGIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE IN COLLABORATION WITH IQAC ON FEBRUARY 16, 2018 Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of St. Joseph s College for Women, Tirupur has taken the task of creating awareness about Intellectual Property Rights amongst faculty and students of its own and neighboring Colleges. India has become a member of the global patent regime but awareness and expertise on the subject of Intellectual property Rights (IPR) in the academic institutions is still inadequate. The venue was Alona Auditorium inside the college campus. There were 41 enthusiastic participants from various colleges including faculty, research scholars and students.
