Referring to Diagram 1, draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of two 1½" x 1½" Fabric H (white dot) With right sides together and noting orientation of the diagonal line, place one Fabric H square in the upper left corner of one 2½" x 2½" Fabric G (pink dot) square. Sew on the drawn line. Trim ¼" away from sewn line. Open and press the Fabric H triangle towards the corner. Repeat this step with remaining 1½" x 1½" Fabric H (white dot) square in the opposite corner of the same Fabric G square to complete Unit A. Trim Unit A, if needed, to measure 2½" x 2½". Diagram 1 Block A (make four) 1. Unit A. All Unit A use two Fabric H (white dot) 1½" x 1½" Following step 1, make a total of three Unit A with each of the following 2½" x 2½" squares: Fabric G (pink dot), Fabric F (green geometric), Fabric J (green scroll), and Fabric D (blue butterfly). Make two Unit A with each of the following 2½" x 2½" squares: Fabric C (blue floral), Fabric K (gold scroll), Fabric E (red butterfly), and Fabric B (pink floral). [twenty Unit A required for each Block A] 2. Column 1.
