Exit left onto Clothiers Creek Rd and follow it through to the coast, turning south and following the Tweed Coast Road to your destination. Self Organise Please note! This is a selforganising weekend. You are free to participate in whatever way you desire. There are no expectations if you want to step onto the beach and shoot 1000 images go for it! If you want to sip and chew at a local cafe all weekend feel free! Important Information 1. This is a self-organise weekend. The more Google homework you do before the event, the more you will get out of it. 2. This is not a catered event. Bring your own food or buy locally. Alternatively, eat out there is a small but nice selection of restaurants available at Cabarita. Best coffee is served @ Corner Stop Espresso Bar (Pottsville) and Café Mod Barista (). 3. Pack for a variety of weather it can be warm during the day & very cool come nighttime. You will see that there is a program set out by the event coordinator which you can cut and paste to suit your own style. There s no pressure to follow the program but you will be most welcome to do so if you wish and as you are able. There are no rules...except perhaps that you have to enjoy yourself! Local Hastings Point 4. Bring camera equipment for a variety of photography genre bring everything if you can, especially your tripod, remote shutter cable and polarizing filter. 5. Having had a personal snake encounter on the Hastings Point headlands keep your eyes peeled! Pack snake bandages in your kit. 6. Beware of Blue Ringed Octopus in rockpools which do not look blue until you have upset them!! DEADLY!! 7. Extras: bring a hat, good walking shoes, a torch or headlamp, an umbrella plus midge spray. 8. Prepare for Saturday night workshop on steel wool photography via DIY google research.

NOTE: all fauna and flora is protected in this area. W/E Challenge Get ready for the great, weekend away photography Challenge 1. Take heaps of awesome photos during the weekend away 2. Select your best image the image must be taken between 4pm on Friday 7th and 4pm on Sunday 9th October in any location south of Tweed Heads. 3. The image can be processed as you would a nature shot 4. Submit it as a DPI to IPS Club DPI coordinator 5.
