Some may be well-known and some you ll meet for the first time. The finished quilt measures 90 x 90. At the end of the twelve month program, you will have received all of the block patterns and fabric that you will need for your quilt top and binding. ll enjoy making this gorgeous 90 by 90 quilt designed by Denice Lipscomb of Common Threads, the same company as our famous First Ladies. Thangles Table Runners Dates: Sept. 6 th, Nov. 1 st, and Dec. 6 th Time: Saturdays 10 to 2 Cost: $5.00 per month This is a multi-month class. Each month we will be making a beautiful and unique table runner. The table runners vary in size and can be utilized in many different ways when completed. All projects are made with 4 strips of fabric. The cutting is easy. This project pack includes patterns for all six runners and a full pack of Thangles used to make all the projects Civil War Sampler Dates: July 15 and August 19 Time: 5 to 8 Cost: $30.00 for the year plus the book and supplies Barbara Brackman s Civil War Sampler is created with 50 blocks based on stories from civil war history. We are making 4 blocks per month for the year. You could choose to use 8 ½ or 12 ½ blocks, pick out some favorite civil war fabric or fabric of your choice, and join us in making these one-of-a-kind commemorative quilts. A bundle of fat quarters will work well to get started on this project. You ll want to make all of them to complete a beautiful and unique quilt honoring the Civil War Era. We are beginning in September with blocks 33 through 36. McKenna Ryan Snow Buds - Snowmen Blocks Dates: Sept. 2 nd, and Oct. 7 th Time: 5 to 8 Cost: $38.50 plus embellishments These charming snowmen designed by McKenna Ryan are cute, and very striking. Each design of the nine designs is trimmed to suit the perfect size to use in quilts, table decor, wall hangings, etc. They can also be left at the 12 ½ background size until your choice of an end project is determined. This is a continuing class which will be working on blocks 8 and 9 in September and October.
Sincerely Yours is an embroidery machine appliqué quilt pattern with 9 classic style appliqué blocks with an additional 10 variations. The large blocks have 10 square embroidery designs that can be completed in one hoping in a large hoop. The large designs are also split in various ways to accommodate different size hoops. Complete hoping and re-hooping instructions are included in the pattern. The embroidery designs include a cutting line for the tack-and-trim method, and the pattern had PDF files to print the appliqué shapes on printable fusible web sheets. We will be completing this project in October. Dates: September 27 th and October 25 th Time: 10 to 2 Cost: $20.00 Plus the CD pattern program, fabric, and supplies Anita Goodesign s Monthly Embroidery Workshop This unique workshop features a hands-on embroidery environment. Three projects will be introduced at each session. Each participant will receive an envelope containing the Companion Newsletter and The Design CD-ROM having on it each of the pattern directions for the three projects. One of the projects may be stitched after the presentation.
