INTRODUCTION THE SUMMER EXHIBITION Maddox Gallery recently hosted ONE LOVE, the highly anticipated first UK solo exhibition by LA-based artist Danny Minnick, with celebrities descending on Mayfair to celebrate the launch. Now, the gallery has swiftly transformed once again to host its summer exhibition. The summer exhibition will run from the 24th July to the 2nd September. This group display showcases the best of the contemporary art scene today, including Harland Miller, David Yarrow, Banksy, Michael Moebius, RETNA and Bradley Theodore. Harland Miller is the latest name to be exhibited at Maddox Gallery, a talented contemporary artist best known for his satirical paintings of reimagined Penguin classics. Miller s unique take on classic literary iconography brings together aspects of pop art, abstract, figurative painting, large-scale photorealism and a writer s love of words. His work has gathered enormous demand, and now features in corporate collections, as well as those of celebrities including Ed Sheeran. Celebrated wildlife photographer David Yarrow also joined Maddox Gallery s growing roster of notable artists in June. Yarrow ventures to some of the world s most isolated locations to record and preserve the Earth s last great wildernesses, and address environmental and geopolitical issues. His work has won global acclaim and is shown in some of the most prestigious galleries around the world. In the foreword to Yarrow s latest book Wild Encounters HRH Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, stated: David s images have the power to engage and influence our appreciation and knowledge of some of the planet s most extraordinary flora and fauna.
