Keep all glue caps, marker caps and other small items out of reach of children age 3 or under, as they are a choking hazard. Use nontoxic washable markers. Watch young children when they are using crayons, to be sure they don't put them in their mouths. Have an emergency plan in place in case of injury, ie. First Aid procedures Photo Supplies Instructions Bible Character craft pages Card stock Scissors (adult only) Crayons Extra-strength glue sticks or School glue Restickable glue sticks Optional for age 4+: Hat pattern craft page Fabric with small print, stripe Women: Cut out spices. Place restickable glue on the backs of the spice jars. Allow to dry. Stick on the women s hands when it says in the story. Bible Character Standups Age 4+ (Age 3+ version without fabric). Prep: Print Bible Characters. Make copies onto heavy card stock. Cut out characters that children will be making. Craft: Children color characters. Fold back tabs on dashed lines to stand. Fabric hats: Print hat pattern onto card stock. Cut out. Place hat pattern on fabric. Trace. Cut out fabric hats. Cut strips of fabric to use as headbands or belts tied on bible characters. Place middle of straight edge of hat on top of character s head. Pull about 1/2 forward at the top. Glue ends of that same straight edge to shoulder of bible character. You can also turn back front edge (so the face can be seen more) and glue to the fabric behind it. (See photo.). Glue to back of angel. Standup Tomb Age 2+. Prep: Print craft pages. Make copies onto cardstock. Cut out tomb, stone, accessories, and at least 1 Bible Character (See Standup craft). Craft: Children color pictures. Tomb: Cut slits on the sides of the entrance long enough to slide head/feet of mummy behind slits. Overlap the two pieces of the stand and glue together. Glue stand to back of tomb. Fold tabs back on dashed line to stand all pieces. Tape words, sun, butterfly to background wall or hang. How To Use: Use these Stand-up Bible Characters To Tell the biblical account of Jesus Resurrection. You can also let children make up the characters and tomb as a craft and/or let them use the characters to tell the story in their own words. Two men, two women bible characters and an angel are included, which fits the account in Luke 23-24.

Four steps! (It s not really super quick and easy, but you ll get there). BibleKidsFunZone.com Supplies Needed: Cardboard box (One in photo is 10 X 7 X 8 deep) Plastic grocery bag Clear packing tape 1 yd gray or brown stone or gravel fabric* or stone-texture scrapbook paper. Old newspaper magazines, or paper Craft knife or safety cutting tool Strips of muslin fabric Photos: How to Make 3D Tomb: Step 1 Cut Box: Cut bottom off box (It will be easier if its off). Draw tombstone shape on the front. Carefully cut out stone shape. Save to make the fabric-covered stone. Step 2 - Stuff: Scrunch up paper wads and fill plastic bag. Make it big enough to cover most of top of box. Lay aside. Step 3 Cut Fabric: Lay box on its back side. Lay fabric on top. Cut slits up to the rounded stone shape all along the edges. Cut another piece of fabric big enough to cover stone piece. Step 4 Tape and Stuff: With box still on its back, tape slit pieces to the inside of the front of the box to make tomb entrance. Put box right side up. Position bag with paper wads on top of tomb. Begin taping fabric to back of box. Stuff sides of box with more paper wads. Tape fabric to inside of box and back of box. Cover stone with fabric by laying fabric on front, pulling fabric to back and taping to the back. Tip If you don t like how your tomb looks, just remove the tape and re-position the paper wads, pulling the fabric to hold it in place and re-tape**
