SPECIFICATIONS Specifications: All aluminum construction for superior corrosion resistance. Dual height scales provide English and Metric measurements ranging from 7' to 8'. Wide stance base for improved stability. 8 base anchors included. Meets High School and NCAA specifications. The base measures /" x 5" and allows the standard to adjust from "-" behind the 'zero' line. Up Offset Position for Upper Scale. Place crossbar on this pin. Offset Operation: To adjust the height of the riser, loosen the clamping knob, position the riser at the desired height, and re-tighten the knob. Read the height scale that corresponds to the position of the offset. The scale on one side of the upright is for the lowest pin with the offset in the down position (7'-7') and the scale on the other side is for the highest position with the offset in the up position (8'-8'). The scale reads in both English (feet and inches) and Metric (centimeters). Down Offset Position for Lower Scale. Place crossbar on this pin. Riser Caution: Over tightening the knob can result in damaged threads, which may cause the knob to seize in place and may require a new knob and/or riser. M5 /8"- thin nylock hex nut 5 7 55mm bar rest pin 5 M8.5" SQ End Plug, BLK (fits GA) M75 Knob /8"- x /" black TPE Fasten the 55mm bar rest pins () to each offset with /8"- thin nylock hex nuts (). Use pliers to hold the pin while tightening the nylock nuts. Left offset is shown in the picture. After the pins have been attached to the offset, fasten the offsets () to the risers with the offset clamping knobs (5). When changing offsets from the Upper Scale Position to the Lower Scale Position, offsets must be switched from right to left and left to right. The bottom two hole are used for the Up Offset Position and the top two holes are used for the Down Offset Position. This maintains pin alignment to the pit side of the standards and ensures that the scale matches the pin used. Offset Use this pin. Riser Use this pin. Down Offset Position for lower scale. Up Offset Position for upper scale. 7_inst
BASE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 5 Remove the wheel stop bolt and slide the roll base out of the base rail. Position the base rails, see last two pages. Verify the proper position of the bases before anchoring them. There should be " or 5.8M between the standards, see the last page for more details. Anchor the base rails using the provided concrete anchors, see page 5. Orient the upright so that the riser faces one of the short sides of the roll base. Fasten the upright to the slide base with bolts (), washers (), and nuts (5). See picture. Slide the slide base back into the base rail and replace the wheel stop. The risers should face inwards towards the landing pit. If the pit is already setup, move the front sloped sections out of the way. Point A is the middle of the top of the back of the box. Person holds the m and m mark on the tape measure at point A. Person holds the m mark on the tape measure and locates point B in the center of the runway. It is important that this point is in the middle of the runway even if the box is not perfectly square. Person holds onto the tape measure at the 9m mark and walks out 9 to the left or right of the box. When the tape is taught at all three points, the third person should mark his position (point C) on the track. The line connecting point A and point C is the line. The tape should go over point A from before to ensure that the line is still centered on the runway. Person holds onto the tape measure at the 9m mark and walks out 9 to the left or right of point D. When the tape is taught at all three points, the third person should mark his position (point F) on the track.
