Soap Making (adults and kids class) Kimberley Wilson Using the melt and our method we will make designer soaps. Participants will be using clear and white soap bases, fragrances, colours, additives and moulds to create different styles of soap. Adult participants will need to bring a sharp knife, chopping board, microwaveable jug (not bigger than 1L) and creativity. Children will not need to bring anything and will make a cool jelly soap and a moulded soap. Adult kit includes 4 cavity moulds, 2 types of soap and all supplies to make an exfoliating soap and a moulded soap, as well as take home materials to make more in your own time. Kids kit - $25; Adult kit - $50. Scrapbooking Beyond the Page Kimberley Wilson Scrapbooking is traditionally decoratively preserving and displaying your photos. Beyond the Page is doing the same in frames, windows, clocks, easels and mini albums. Participants will complete a Beyond the Page project using a wide variety of techniques with specialist papers and decorative embellishments. Participants will need to bring scissors, photos and 2 small paintbrushes. Kits will include the Beyond the Page item, papers, embellishments, chipboard words and decorative pieces. Kits will include ribbons and/or lace accents, sandpaper and students will have access to paints and products for the completion of their projects. Below are some examples of Beyond the Page projects. Age: 15+; Kit - $50. Kids Drawing Heather Moore Paper, charcoal, pencils and erasers will be supplied. Children are also encouraged to bring along anything like to draw with from home. Kit - $5. Kitchen Kids Judy Fysh Children will prepare a few dishes and learn a few skills. Please bring a container to take your goodies home in. Kit - $5.

Jill s Jewellery Jill Matthews Class 1 (left photo) - In this class you will use simple jewellery making techniques to make a dainty bracelet and beautiful earrings. Learn how to: attach a toggle clasp; wrap wire; and use jewellery findings. Age 12+; Kit - $20. Class 2 (right photo) - Use basic jewellery making techniques to make 3 bracelets with matching earrings. You will string beads onto wire and cord; attach clasps and charms; and make earrings. Age: - 12+; Kit - $20. Card Making Jill Matthews Class 1 (left photo) - Five cards In this class it s all about lace, flowers and bling! Create five cards using pretty papers and interesting card shapes. The kit includes double sided tape and extra materials for you to make cards at home. Age 12+; Kit - $20. Class 2 (right photo) - Six cards Make six gorgeous cards using simple layouts and a variety of papers. All materials are pre-cut. The kit includes double sided tape and extra materials for you to make cards at home. Age 12+; Kit - $20. Watercolour Painting Chelsea Tindall The watercolour session will consist of learning two techniques (more if we get time). The students will be able to take two small paintings home at the end of the session, as well as their paint tray and a practice piece of paper. Please bring a water spray bottle and a ruler (steel if possible) with you if possible. Age 12+; Kit - $26.

Wood Burning Julie Curtin Learn the art of wood burning. Course includes how to work safely with wood and tools, the correct use of tools, how to transfer patterns and burning on your pattern. Kits includes a burner to take home, two wood blanks and a small birdhouse shape key holder. Age - 12+; Kit - $45. Leather Work Neil Walker Beginner s class will create the round hatband shown on the bottom. Kids and adults welcome. Age - 8+; Kit - $25. Adult s class will create their choice of one of the top two bands (difference being the inclusion of a buckle). Age adults; Adult Kit - $35. Textile Lino Printing Georgi Westlund Learn how to use tools to create your own one colour lino block design, then the technique of printing onto fabric. We will be putting our design onto reusable fabric to create eco friendly shopping bags from our printed recycled fabric. You will take away printed information, web links, a boomerang bag pattern, a contact list and your printed fabric. Lino carving, lino blocks and fabric paints will be provided. Please bring a second hand item for cutting up and printing on ie. large shirt/skirt/dress/tablecloth. Age - adults; Kit - $20. Welding for Beginners Tommy Burke This useful skill could start you off on an amazing journey or help you get out of trouble. The course will start with an outline of safety procedures, welders and how to achieve the correct settings on your welder. This will be followed by the hands-on welding/joining of steel by the end of the class. This class will be held over one full day, with a morning and then an afternoon session. Gas or gasless welding will be available to suit people s needs. BYO safety mask/helmet, gloves if available and overalls/full covered protective clothing, boots. Age - adults; Kit - $60 (amended if own welder).

Eco Bag Bonanza Joint tutors With the phasing out of plastic bags later this year, make your own shopping bags and learn new skills. The choice is yours - knitting, crochet, and choice of patchwork patterns A, B or C and requirement lists will be available. You can provide your own material or request a kit of chosen bag on registration. Age all ages; Kit - $5 own materials, $25 full kit. Evening Skies Photography Intermediate Heather Moore (Night session) Please bring along a good camera with all of the shooting modes on it and tripod so that we can take some great photos of in low light of sunsets and the night sky. This course will take place on the Saturday evening. This course is aimed at intermediates but if you are a beginner just getting into DSLR then you are encouraged to come along. Kit $0, BYO camera and tripod. Photography Beginner s & Basic Editing Heather Moore Bring along any camera you like such as iphones, point and shoot or DSLR and we will talk about photo editing and online resources through Pinterest. Bring a laptop along for this with saved photos those completing the Evening Skies workshop are encouraged to bring your photos along the next day. Kit $0, BYO any type of camera. Photo printing available at cost on the day. Creating your own unique Designs or Motifs Georgi Westlund Tips & Techniques: - Textures, lines, shapes, numbers and colour in design - Use your design to make a repetitive tier. - Negative or positive space in design, light and dark. - Different uses of designs.
