General Door Information Orders: Elias Woodwork accepts orders either in metric to the nearest millimeter or in inches to the nearest 1/16. Whenever you are ordering or speaking with a Customer Service Representative, please refer to cabinet doors WIDTH by HEIGHT. From a single vanity to a condominium project we will accept orders from one door to several thousands. Although our manufacturing system has been engineered to be able to produce 1 door almost as efficiently as 1000 there will still always be some economies of scale that may influence pricing on large orders. For this reason we may be able to work out lower prices for large projects when you need that extra edge to get the job. This project pricing is a job by job basis and is completely separate from your standard discount. Tenon Door Construction: Elias Woodwork manufactures it s wood tenon style cabinet doors without the use of any metal pins. All solid panels are installed with ¼ rubber space balls to allow for expansion in different environmental situations. All plywood panels are glued in on all four sides as there is no concern with expansion and this prevents any possible vibration problems in the future with the plywood panel. Center Rails on Tenon Doors: Defaults: Cabinet doors over 48 in height will have a horizontal center rail inserted. Cabinet doors over 4 in width will have a vertical center rail inserted. Cabinet doors over 48 in width will have vertical center rails inserted. All rails will be centered to create even sized panels. If you require a 5 piece drawer front with a solid panel over 4 in width but do not wish to have the center rail you may order the panel with horizontal grain. Tolerance: Elias Woodwork warrants that it s wood cabinet doors have a size tolerance of +/- 1mm. Warping is always a factor with wood cabinet doors. Elias Woodwork warrants that any door or drawer front under 4 x48 will have an allowance of 1/8. Doors or drawer fronts between the sizes of 4 x48 and 4 x7 will have an allowance of ¼. Any doors or drawer fronts wider than 4 or higher than 7 will not be warranted for warpage. Note: This applies to doors and drawer fronts with one vertical grain panel. Sample Doors: Samples doors that will be used as selling tools or for a showroom display are available at an additional 0% off your current discounted price. Suggested sizes are 11 x15, 1 x15 and 13 x16. All sample doors are supplied with a label that details the specifications of the door for ease of selling and ordering. 8
General Door Information Confirmations: The Purpose: To ensure that all information regarding wood species and grade, profiles, sizes, and ship date are correct and/or acceptable to the customer. Every order sent to Elias Woodwork will have a confirmation sent back to the customer to verify that we understand what you want. How to Use / Read: Please read each of the highlighted sections on the confirmation carefully. Note that each of the highlighted areas correspond with wood tenon door codes only. If your confirmation has any other products listed, check the confirmation page in each of those sections to verify the codes and their layout on the confirmation. The ship date, especially the date shown in the Service Level chart will only take effect when the confirmation has been received by Elias Woodwork. The ship date shown on the confirmation is only valid if you follow these instructons. If your customers require faster lead times, don t forget that you can take advantage of changing your ship date in the Service Level chart on the confirmation!
