The Cntinents Shwcase Unit Assessment This unit is an integrated apprach t student explratin f earth/envirnmental science, gegraphy, human gegraphy, and the humanities, while using the arts. Students will wrk clsely with their Histry, Science, Library teachers and guest artist. Students will be required t create and present ne visual art prject during the 6 th grade Shwcase. Students will select ne f the seven cntinents: Nrth America, Suth America, Eurpe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica. Students will, individually, start researching their cntinent; specifically, the uniqueness f the terrain and its natural resurces. Then investigate hw these natural resurces are acquired, used, and the envirnmental impact that has resulted frm the acquisitin and use f these natural resurces.
