Attaching the pin Simply push the pin in! Ratchet Slider The mechanism allows for simply pushing threaded pin into Ratchet Slider for securely fixing the skull of the patient without screwing the pin all the way through. Stopper Sleeve The Stopper Sleeve fixes the pin in place preventing it from moving forward. Simply insert the pin forward through the Smart Fix ratchet holes. When the pin tip reaches patient's head, manually rotate the pin to fix the skull. Box Joint The Box Joint allows for easy sliding the Head Holder for turning the head of the patient towards right and left with fixation. After fixing the skull, screw the Stopper Sleeve onto the pin to firmly fix the pin in the Ratchet Slide. Smart Fix is applicable for Conventional Table Attachment and Basal Frame
