I know this is how it can feel at times you re right at the basket, and you re desperately trying to make the shot only everyone s opinions and your own self doubt are getting in the way But here it is, your step by step guide to slam dunk or even alley-oop your purpose into the hoop uncovering what lies within your heart. But, before we begin, a few essential pointers to get the maximum value from your Work Book. MOST IMPORTANTLY, DO NOT FILTER ANY OF YOUR ANSWERS. Step One The Time Machine Lets go back to your childhood - when you where around 9 12 years old and what used to make you laugh out loud. Remember to write everything that comes into your head and filter nothing. Who was your idol? What / who did you want to be when you were younger (approx. 9 to 12 years old)? What was your favourite TV programme?

If you ve ever watched a small child lost in their own world of make-believe, you get to see the unconscious playing full out not caring what the world thinks - just pure, carefree joy. These questions have allowed you to uncover who you would have loved to have been.

Step Two The Joy Factor Your head is probably buzzing at this stage and I m positive you re really eager to do one of two things right now Themes / Common Threads? 1. you re raring to turn the page and keep on going, or 2. you re lost back in Injun country, spitting pea shooters at the dog. It doesn t matter because whatever you re doing, your unconscious is working overtime and right about now you ll be discovering repeating themes and co-incidences.

Well, this chapter is going to be a little like that only with less water What I want you to do now is switch your thinking to actual, physical doing. Or, to be precise, thinking of when you where actually physically doing! Confused? Then my work here is done. Now, I want you to think back over your life and in all areas of your life and list the activities you ve done that lit up your soul. And remember, when you feel you have listed everything, you take a deep breath, and write at least three more in each section. Take your time over this one. Now, pick up your pen and start scribbling What activities make you really happy, excited, joyful in your PERSONAL life?

A Saturday night essential not that I expect you to be listing activities like, carrying buckets of water over greasy poles or rolling logs, whilst your mates are squirting water or throwing custard pies at you. Well, not in the spiritual section anyway
Step Four The Charlie s Angel Has Talent Without trying to give you nightmares, this is the part of the programme when we are going to enlist the help of others. Think of it a little like Britain s Got Talent. You re up there giving it your all and when you ve finished, you turn to the judges for their feedback. But, do not fear there will be no Mr Cowell on your panel these guys are letting you know what they love about you and what they believe you re natural gifts are. What are your greatest talents and natural abilities? I can guarantee some of their answers will surprise you our greatest talents are normally what we take for granted and we have no idea the huge impact they have. So, once you ve written down what you believe are your greatest attributes you re then going to ask your family and your friends, what they see you as being naturally great at.

I don t expect you to phone Simon Cowell. Your Mum and your best mates, your boss or your brother or sister will be great people to ask too.
Step Five Now Angels, No Conclusion Leaping Charlie Townsend on speaker phone This is the step where we tune into our daydreams and our imagination with no conclusion leaping! What is the ONE most important thing I would love to accomplish in my personal life? Just keep reminding yourself to trust whatever your heart is telling you. Now, I m asking you to write just ONE thing that speaks to you from your heart. And it doesn t matter if you think this one thing may be impossible to achieve. Write it down.
Step Six Your Essential Characteristic Traits As you know by now, as a child I wanted to be one of Charlie s Angels. When I first asked myself this next question, I Googled, what are the essential characteristics of Charlie s Angels? What are the characteristic traits you love in others? And this was the answer; 1. Arse kicking 2. Hair 3. Fashion sense 4. Sweet ride 5. Intelligence 6. Deadly aim What are the characteristic traits you dislike in others? 7. Taste in men 8. Athletic prowess I don t think I have to say any more than that really
Step Six Your Essential Characteristic Traits What are the characteristic traits you are committed to living? What you re actually doing now, is identifying the qualities and values that are important to you. Using others around us as a mirror can be really helpful in discovering your purpose as well as getting to know yourself better. Personally, I believe mirroring is a great way to see yourself and get a clearer understanding on where you re at right now it is however, quite acceptable to not count mirroring, if like me you find yourself surrounded by friends who are completely bonkers. Sometimes people are just bonkers nothing to do with me or you, at all. Trust yourself you are getting closer to your purpose and you are getting closer to creating your dream life.
Step Seven The Legacy of You These next questions are for all areas in your life. What do I want to achieve in my lifetime? I WANT, I WANT, I WANT This is your time to get as creative as you like. Listen to what s bubbling up into your head and write it all down do not filter anything. Just let your story come to life. This is what I look like in the mornings before my first cup of coffee
