The club is a member of the Federation of Metal Detector and Archeological Clubs Inc. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of metal detecting as a hobby. No brand or model of metal detector is endorsed by the club. Membership is open to the public with the only requirement being that all members follow the Treasure Hunters Code of Ethics. Club dues are $25.00 per family yearly. Any comments or stories that you would like to contribute to your newsletter are always welcome. MEETINGS: First Friday of each month. 2 3 FORKS MEMBERSHIP MEETING JUNE 5 th, 2009 The meeting was called to order @ 7:40 PM There were 28 members in attendance. Bruce and Lorie Stubbs will drive up and check out the park and RV hook-up sites for possible 2 day event. Mike McGrew announced there will be a 4 th of July party in his neighborhood the weekend of June 27 th, with music, food, games and fireworks. All are welcome. Vicki Lang announced Lights over Rhema will be Sunday June 28 th. Cathy Young has contacted Creek County Fairgrounds to set & reserve date for next years National Hunt. Gold Eagle was awarded to Mike McGrew. Raffle donation won by the Larry Koch. 50/50 pot was $20.00, won by Gene Coffey, with consolation prize going to Vicki Lang. Display Case won by Ken Fanning. Attendance drawing won by Larry Koch. The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 PM There was no Board Meeting. 3 THREE FORKS SUMMER CLUB HUNT JULY 18th AT THE COFFEY S BLUEBERRY FARM IN OKAY. The Night Hunt Entry Fee is $15.00 up until July 3rd. There is also a mandatory Prize Donation worth at least $10.00. Children 12 And under can hunt both hunts for half price and waive the donation. You can pay in Silver up until the time of the Hunts. Silver prices will be 15 Silver Dimes. Plus the $10.00 Prize Donation for the Night Hunt. The club will be furnishing the Hamburgers to grill and there will be a signup sheet at the meeting for the rest of our meal.
