Some simple tips for understanding the jargon. Print Ready file? A print ready file is one that is ready to be sent straight to the printer. The file will need to contain all the relevant information required to print. We recommend all artwork to be in a PDF file (Portable Document Format) as this is a flat fixed document encapsulating all fonts, images, colours etc. Other files can be used to print such as a jpeg or a tiff, but documents like powerpoint, word, publisher require converting before print. If you are not able to do then we offer this service. What is Bleed and why do we need it? If you d like your artwork to be printed to the edge of the sheet, you ll need to include 3mm of bleed around the document. This helps at the trimming stage, so that none of your prints will have a white edge showing. Ordering Print from us?
