Assembly Instructions 1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts listed. 2. Attach the Bottom Back Stretcher (part I) with the 1 1/4 Bolts (part 1) through the Flat Washers (part 2) through the cleat into the threaded inserts of the Bottom Panel (part G). See detail # 1. 3. Proceed to attach Bottom Front Molding (part H) to the Bottom Panel (part G) with three Bolts (part 1) and Washers (part 2). See detail #1. 4. Proceed to attach the Bottom Panel (part G) onto the Right Side Panel (part B) with the 1 1/4 Bolts and Washers. Screw the Bottom Back Stretcher (part I) with two 1 1/4 Bolts (part 1) through the Flat Washers (part 2) through cleat holes onto the Right Side Panel (part B). See detail #2. 5. Attach the Top Back Stretcher (part F) to the Right Side Panel (part B) by inserting the end wood dowels into the hole without threaded inserts of Right Side Panel, see detail #2. 6. Insert the pre-attached wood dowel of the Top Front Stretcher (part E) into the Right Side Panel (part B) and secure with two 1 1/4 Bolts (part 1) through the Flat Washer (part 2) through the cleat into the threaded inserts of the Right Side Panel. Make sure that the wood dowel goes all the way in. See detail #2. 7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 to attach Left Side Panel (part A). See detail #2. Page # 3
Assembly Instructions 8. Screw the Top (part C) onto the Side Panels (part A & B) and Top Front & Back Stretcher (part E & F) with the 1 1/4 Bolts and Flat Washers (part 1 & 2) a total of 10. Using the wood dowels as guide. See detail #3. 9. Flip the unit around so you can attach the Back Panel (part D). Secure the Bottom Front Molding (part H) to Left and Right Side Panel (part A & B) with the 1 1/4 Bolts and Flat Washers (part 1 & 2), two bolts per side. See detail #4. 10. Now go back and tighen all bolts, make sure all the parts are tight and there are no gaps between the parts, this will help keep the unit square. Use the pre-drill holes on the Back Panel as guide when attaching with the 5/8 screws (part 4). See detail #4. Warning: We recommend attaching back panel with screws only at the corners first, after you finish step #10, you can go back and finish with all the screws. Page # 4
11. Stand the unit upright and proceed to install the Adjustable Shelves (part J) with the provided Shelf Pin (part 3) at your desired height and secure the shelf in place with the 1/2 Screw (part 5) for extra support of unit. Now go back and attach all the screws to the back. See detail #5. Assembly Instructions TIPPING RESTRAINT HARDWARE Note: We have included two Tipping Restraint Hardware sets for this Unit. We pre-installed the metal brackets at the back of unit, just install the ones that go to your wall and connect them together with the plastic tie. When properly installed, this restraint can provide protection against the unexpected tipping of the Unit due to small tremors, bumps or climbing. We strongly recommend mounting this hardware to a wall stud and your Unit when installing. Please carefully read the instructions printed on the bag. Note: You must install the Tipping Restraint Hardware with the unit in use to prevent any accidents or damage to the unit. A Touch-Up Pen has been provided to repair any small nicks or scratches that may occur during assembly or shipping. Keep these instructions for further use Your assembly should now be complete.
