FADE IN: EXT. STREET - DAY We see a poster of Edward from Twilight, the one where s he s trying to look all tough but really he just looks pissed off (Type Edward Cullen into Google-it s the first one there.), 18, is staring back at the poster with the same pissed off look. We get closer and closer to their eyes until--- Jason tears the poster in half. Freeze frame. (V.O.) You re probably wondering why I m tearing down a poster of a fictional vampire...it s because I fucking hate him. INT. S BEDROOM - DAY Jason is sitting on his bed with the telephone. (V.O.) When Stacy dumped me, her reason was simply: INT. STACY S BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS STACY, 17, sits by her dressing table on the telephone. STACY I wish you were more like Edward. INTERCUT - S BEDROOM/STACY S BEDROOM What? STACY He s a God. An adonis. Gentle. Caring. He has a good taste in clothes. He--what?

2. STACY He quotes Shakespeare. He writes lullabies. He says love at the end of a sentence. I. Um. STACY Charming. Speaks sophisticatedly. Virgin. Okay. Awesome, Stacy. Nice talking. INT. S HOUSE - PASSAGE Jason s walking down the passage. His sister,, 16, walks out of her room. Hey, you going out tonight? Nah. Stacy just dumped me. Why? For a guy named Edward. Who names their kid Edward? INT. S BEDROOM - DAY Erica throws a book on the bed. Jason picks it up. I borrowed them from Candice. He s not real. Mm-hmm. He s a vampire. Mm-hmm.

3. She dumped me for a character in a book. There s movies too. (V.O.) So...I read the books. INT. S BEDROOM - DAY Jason sits on his bed with the first book. (V.O) His breath blew in my face, stunning me. INT. S HOUSE - LOUNGE - ANOTHER DAY Jason s reading the second book. (V.O.) I hoped that I was fainting, but, to my disappointment, I didn't lose consciousness. The waves of pain that had only lapped at me before now reared high up and washed over my head, pulling me under. I did not resurface Jason turns the page. It says October. He turns it again. It says November. He turns the page and now it says December. What the actual fuck? INT. BATHROOM - ANOTHER DAY Jason s sitting on the toilet reading the next book. Sleep, my Bella. Dream happy dreams. You are the only one who has ever touched my heart. It will always be yours. Sleep, my only love. Jason puts the book on his lap.

4. (CONT D) I just can t. INT. DINING ROOM - ANOTHER DAY Jason s on the last book. (V.O.) Nearly done...nearly done...almost There... Jason closes the book. He throws it against the wall. INT. S LOUNGE - DAY Jason s watching TV. (V.O.) I watched the movies. EXT. FOREST - DAY - ON SCREEN Edward stands in the sunlight with his shirt open. His skin sparkles. This is the skin of a killer. INT. S LOUNGE - CONTINUOUS Jason spits out his drink. EXT. FOREST - DAY - ON SCREEN Bella looks at him. Are you afraid, lamb? BELLA No. I would rather die than stay away from you. INT. S LOUNGE - ANOTHER DAY He s watching the next film.

5. EXT. DIFFERENT FOREST - DAY - ON SCREEN I don t want you. BELLA If this is about my soul, take it. INT. S LOUNGE - CONTINUOUS What? EXT. DIFFERENT FOREST - DAY - ON SCREEN This is the last time you ll ever see me. Don t do anything stupid, k? Bella cries. Edward takes her tear onto his finger and licks it. INT. S LOUNGE - AND ANOTHER DAY Jason s on the third film. EXT. FOREST AREA - DAY - ON SCREEN Edward s hand is on Bella s face. She smells his fingers. She turns around. Jacob s there with his shirt off. She touches his abs. INT. S LOUNGE - CONTINUOUS Jason s staring at the film through his hands. EXT. FOREST - DAY - ON SCREEN Bella s screaming. Edward approaches Jacob. I want you to impregnate her. Say what? JACOB

6. She s going to die if she gives birth to this child. But she wants a child. So I m giving you this opportunity. Replace my child with your own. JACOB Hellz yeah! EXT. POOL AREA - DAY Jason sits by the pool. He is in utter disbelief. (V.O.) I couldn t make any sense of it. He s pale. He s creepy. He abuses the poor girl. He controls her. And he practically stalks her. Not to mention the rest of it... Jason looks at his reflection in the pool. INT. KITCHEN - DAY Jason enters the kitchen. His sister and another girl, 17 are sitting there. Jason smiles. Jason, this is Katie. Katie, my brother. I ve heard a lot about you. EXT. GARDEN - DAY Katie and Jason are walking together. (V.O.) Katie and I spent the whole day talking. She was pretty amazing. I ve been at home school forever. I hardly even go out. It s like I live under a rock. Haven t even been to a movie in ages.

7. Realisation washes over Jason s face. He looks up at the sky. It s twilight. Twilight. Huh? Twilight. What about it? It s beautiful, isn t it? Jason looks like he s about to die. He s relieved! Jason grins. (CONT D) It s my favourite time of day. Is that all it means to you? Yes. What else would it mean? INT. S HOUSE - PASSAGE - DAY The doorbell rings. Jason answers. Katie is standing there. He doesn t. Know what today is? (CONT D) It s our one month anniversary! I knew that. Jason opens the gate. Katie gives him a card. So I thought we could go on a date. Like a date-date. To the mall.

8. Jason s face is full of panic. I. I um. No. Um. Come on. We never get to go out. INT. MALL - DAY Katie and Jason enter the mall. Jason looks around hoping nothing Twilight related is around. He turns around. Katie s gone. He walks. He sees her by a window. Staring at a large poster of Bella, Edward and Jacob. Who. Are. They? (V.O.) So...much to my chagrin, she read the books. INT. S BEDROOM - DAY Katie s reading the first book. Smiling. INT. S BEDROOM - LATER She s reading the second. Crying. INT. S BEDROOM - MUCH LATER Now she s on the third. Excited. INT. S BEDROOM - EVEN LATER Now she s on the last. She finishes it and holds it to her chest. (V.O) She watched the movies. INT. S LOUNGE - DAY Katie s watching the first film.

9. EXT. FOREST - DAY - ON SCREEN Edward s chest sparkles. This is the skin of a killer. INT. S LOUNGE - CONTINUOUS OMG he s so hot. EXT. DIFFERENT FOREST - DAY - ON SCREEN Don t do anything stupid, k? INT. S LOUNGE - CONTINUOUS Katie s crying her eyes out. EXT. FOREST AREA - DAY - ON SCREEN Bella stops sniffing Edward s fingers and touches Jacob s abs. INT. S LOUNGE - DAY Katie throws something at the TV. Oh hell no, bitch. Team Edward. Katie s wearing a shirt that says Team Edward. INT. FOREST - DAY - ON SCREEN Replace my child with your own. INT. S HOUSE - DAY Wow. Best BF ever. Jason s watching Katie from the distance.

10. Overs. (V.O.) INT. S HOUSE - DAY Jason s walking down the passage. He hears sobbing. He rushes into Katie s room. INT. S BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS There are snacks all over her bed, plus three of the books. She s reading the second one. What s the matter? He...he...he. He left her! Oh. He left her, Jas. But he comes back. And they get married. And have a kid. And live happily ever after. But he left her! I thought you already read these. This is my third time. Jason rolls his eyes subtly. Not subtle enough though. (CONT D) OME, what s wrong with you? OM what? Oh my Edward. Duh. Do you have a problem with the Saga?

11. You mean the series? It is so a Saga. You don t have a life. You re just jealous. Of what? Of Edward. Ha! What? He s just so amazing. In every way. You probably do like it. You re just saying you don t. You secretly love it! Honest to Jacob it s the best thing ever. Jason walks towards the door. (CONT D) Where are you going? Jason walks out the room. (CONT D) Well, whatever! You try writing a best seller! EXT. STREET - DAY Freeze frame of Jason tearing down the poster. It resumes. Jason looks down at the torn poster and tears down the other half. A hot girl walks up to him. She looks down at the poster. GIRL Not an Edward fan, huh? No. I hate him. GIRL So do I! Oh my gosh. Freeze frame of Jason smiling.

12. Oh yeah. This is the one. O M...yeah. Resume. GIRL Mm. I always fancied myself Team Jacob. She lifts up her shirt to reveal another one underneath, reading Team Jacob. Jason looks it at and then back at her. He walks away. FADE OUT
