Quilt of the Cover of her Musician Friend s First Solo Album. In Progress Made by Becky Reed Owner will be Jon and Jane Anderson The cover of the album is shown on the left, and her quilt-in-progress is on the right. She still has some thread work, couched lettering and quilting to finish before August 25 th. Becky said it had been a challenge, but so much fun!

Hawaiian Postcard Quilt Made and Quilted by Charlotte Runyan is for her Grand Daughter, Mia. This quilt has 100 Blocks and 43 different Hawaiian prints. The blocks are made 3-1/2 by 5-1/2, which is the same size as an old postcard. The fabrics were collected from three different islands over three years. Charlotte started making the pillow and quilt in July, finishing everything including the quilting in about a month. She practiced machine quilting after taking a class last year. The quilting, consisting of a pebble design in the white only) took about 8 hours at her regular machine.

All My Heart or Todo Mi Corazon - Made by Liz Pickering & quilted by Mary Anne Sletto of Harmony Quilting Liz made this queen sized Double Irish Chain quilt for her Mom and Dad. There were twenty quilters making the same pattern in the Jane Adam s January Class in Yorba Linda. She used Moda s Hop, Skip and a Jump jelly roll for the chain. The group in this class met monthly, and found in the second month,

that one of the group had appliquéd hearts on her quilt. Liz decided to do the same with hers. She loved the quilt, but wondered if it would ever be finished. Supernova Spiral Design by Paula Pangle It is one of Hoffman s precision cut and pre-fused patterns. Paula made it for a Murphy Bed and it blends with the quilt on the bed. When the bed is down, it will hang on the wall inside. All she had to do was place the pattern, top stitch the pieces and quilt. She decided not to have a binding that shows.

A Year of Applique - Made by Marsha Burns Pattern by Pat Sloan After seeing Nancy Sandoval s Year of Applique quilt, she knew immediately that she had to have it! She said the title is right on it took about a year to make. Her friend Nancy agreed to wait, so that they could show them to the guild on the same night!

Fun Frog by Mary Arnts This design by our speaker, Karen Brow was in a magazine some years ago. Mary has made several for friends and for philanthropy.

A Year of Applique made by Nancy Sandoval Pattern by Pat Sloan Nancy made this quilt a while ago, but had to wait till her friend Marsha Burns completed hers, so that they could show them the same month.

Allison s T-Shirt Quilt by Made and Quilted by Mary Kay Fitzpatrick Mary Kay collected t-shirts from Allison that range for elementary school to high school. Allison is currently attending Auburn University to study Civil Engineering.

A Day s Drive thru California Made and quilted by Pam Turner This is made from July s workshop with Marjan Kluepfel s hand-dyed fabrics and quilting designs. This is only the second quilt Pam has made on her own machine.

A Year of Applique A Calendar quilt by Nancy Sandoval and Marsha Burns Nancy made this pattern first, and when Marsha saw it, she knew that she had to have it! She says it book about a year to make, which is why Nancy had to wait for her so that they could show it tonight.

Skirt made by Sandy Corbin. This is her submission for The ScrapBaggers presentation in July. She may be a month late, but it s a winner!

Heart for Ava Made by Wendy Price, Quilted by Cosmic Quilters Wendy s friend Ava just moved to a new house and now, at soon to turn 9 years old, has her very own room. Mary Arntz suggested this easy heart block and Wendy selected bright fabrics from her stash. We all think Ava will love it!
