Imprv Quilt-As-Yu-G Using KK2000, spray baste the backing fabric t the batting
Imprv Quilt-As-Yu-G Fussy-cut the fcal fabric and design int a shape. Using KK2000, spray baste it t the batting. Feeling daring? Dn t put the fcal fabric in the center. Put it wherever yu want.
Imprv Quilt-As-Yu-G Chse a strip and line it up, right sides tgether t ne edge f the fcal fabric.
Imprv Quilt-As-Yu-G Using a walking ft, sew the strip dwn with a ¼ seam. Start and stp at the beginning and end f the fcal fabric.
Imprv Quilt-As-Yu-G Flip the newly sewn n strip pen and press. Because Sulky KK2000 dissipates with heat, I use this handy dandy tl t press my seam. (Carpet seam tl)

Supplies Imprv Strip Piecing Methd Varius fabrics strips these can be in the same clr family, several pieces frm the same line f fabric, a jelly rll r just randm scraps White fabric r neutral clr f yur chice (Gd uses blue, green, brwn and smetimes red as a neutral and s can yu). This is what will bring the randmness f the scraps int rder Batting Backing fabric Cttn + Steel Thread by Sulky Stick n Stitch stabilizer cut int 1 strips Sulky KK2000 Temprary Spray Adhesive Sulky Tender Tuch (ptinal)
Imprv Strip Piecing Methd First step Breath. Relax. Yu can t d this wrng. Sew a variety f fabric strips nt a piece f white fabric.
Imprv Strip Piecing Methd With a rtary cutter and ruler, cut the strips apart.
Imprv Strip Piecing Methd Lay the strips ut and auditin them until yu find an rder and length that yu like. Cut the white and the clrs fabric until yu have it hw yu like it.
Imprv Strip Piecing Methd Sew white fabric t the ther side f the strip at whatever length is needed (r lnger, yu can cut it ff later)
Imprv Strip Piecing Methd Sew the strips tgether using a scant 1/4 t an 1/8 seam allwance. If yu use an 1/8 seam allwance, yu may want t stabilize the quilt tp with Sulky Tender Tuch
Imprv Strip Piecing Methd Sandwich the batting, backing and quilt tp and baste tgether with Sulky KK2000 Temprary Spray Adhesive.
Matchstick Quilting - Imprv 1. Use yur sewn strips as the guide and begin by stitching in the ditch f each strip. 2. Using the strip as a guide, sew lines f stitching as clse tgether as pssible (abut a matchstick width apart), ne strip at a time.
Matchstick Quilting Straight lines 1. Using a ruler and strips f Sulky Stick n Stitch, evenly space lines 1 apart. 2. Sew n either side f the Stick n Stitch. 3. Cntinue by cutting the width between the lines f stitching in half until the entire piece is quilted.
