WARNG A WARNG indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not handled correctly, could result in death or serious injury. A indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not handled correctly, may result in personal injury or property damage. WARNG System Safety This system is intended for general industrial applications. It does not have functions for supporting applications requiring higher levels of safety such as safety-related devices or accident prevention systems. The product must not be used for these purposes. Always turn off the power before attempting to mount or replace. Prolonged continuous flow of a rated load current or higher or a transit current due to load short-circuit, etc., in the hybrid unit including the output unit and the output circuit may result in smoking or firing. An external safety device such as a fuse must be installed. System Use a stable, DC. Use of an unstable may cause problems with the system. Separately route high-voltage and power cables Although the AnyWireASLK has a high noise margin, keep the transmission line and I/O cables away from high-voltage and power cables. Connectors and s Pay careful attention to the length and installation of cable wiring to ensure that connectors and cables are neither overloaded nor disconnected. Make sure to prevent any metal objects from getting inside the connectors or the blocks. Short-circuits caused by metal objects or mis-wiring are likely to damage the device. Do not impose any external loads on the units. Doing so may cause a failure. Do not disconnect or reconnect between the transmission line and slave units. A malfunction may occur. Use the AnyWireASLK within the range of the specifications and conditions shown below. [Warranty] Warranty period The warranty on the delivered Product shall continue to be effective for one (1) year after the delivery thereof to a location as designated by the original owner. Scope of warranty Should a defect occur in any part of the Product during the foregoing warranty period when it is used normally in acordance with the specifications described in this User's Manual, the Company shall replace or repair the defect free of charge, except when it arises as a result of: [1] Misuse or abuse of the Product by the owner; [2] Fault caused by other than the delivered Product; [3] The unauthorized modification or repair of the Product by any person other than the Company's personnel; [4] Any unusual force of nature, disaster or other cause beyond the Company's control. The term "warranty," as used herein, refers to the warranty applicable to the delivered product alone. The Company shall not be liable for consequential or incidental damages resulting from any malfunction. Repair at cost After the expiration of the warranty period, the owner shall be responsible for all costs and expenses incurred for the troubleshooting and repair of the Product. [AnyWireASLK Terminal] The AnyWireASLK can employ a two-wire or four-wire selectively depending on the load current. This Products Guide describes a four-wire (isolated). If the load current is small, using a two-wire (non-isolated) allows for achieving simplified wiring without local. In the case of prioritizing the sites of concentrated loads and/or the number of connections, hybridization with a four-wire (isolated), which supports local, is also possible. Make sure to use a four-wire (isolated) in the case of input and load driving using an external. In the case of hybridization, refer to the Two-Wire (Non-Isolated) Terminal Products Guide separately. Red: Two points Black: Two points Two points If the load consumption current is large, a four-wire (isolated) can be selected. This can correspond to I/O of the controller with an external. 8 points Red: Black: 8 points - Refer to Table 1 so that the size and length of the transmission line and the allowable supply current lie within an appropriate range. - Connect the same symbols (, ) correctly between the AnyWireASLK master and each device. - The branching length or branch number has no limitation. - Include the length of the cable provided with the in the total line length. - Connect the terminator BT0 (polar) to the, farthest from AnyWireASLK master. The sum of the portions of, is the total line length. General-purpose filter Black: DC* The branching has no limitation. Two points Red: Two points Black: Two points Red: Two points Red: Black: Two points BT0 AnyWireASLK terminator One terminator should be connected to the, farthest from the AnyWireASLK master. Connect it correctly so as not to set the wrong polarity. [Installation Location] -Location where the unit is not subject to vibration or shock -Location where the unit is not directly exposed to dust -Location where the main body is not directly exposed to conductors such as waste metal and sputter -Location where humidity is not condensed -Location where the atmosphere is free of corrosive gas, flammable gas and sulfur -Location where the unit is removed from high-voltage or high-current cables -Location where the unit is removed from cables and controllers that generate servo, inverter or other high-frequency noise. -BL296*B08F**** 2/22-

~ [Precautions for use with 4-Wire (Insulated) Terminal] If any of the side-by-side lines of,, and exceeds the total length of 50m in a system to be supplied, serially connect the ASLK filter [Type ANF-01] or filter of COSEL Co., Ltd. The indication status will be restored automatically after the trouble is removed. [Troubleshooting] <LK not flashing> Check items Check the connection status of the slave unit. Check the connection status of the master unit. Measures Disconnect and reconnect the slave unit. Check if the LK LED of the master unit flashes and take the following measures. 1) If the LK of the master unit flashes and the LK of the slave unit is on, the master unit may be damaged. Please contact our helpdesk. 2) If the LK of the master unit flashes and the LK of the slave unit is off, the master unit may not be powered ( DC), the transmission line (, ) may be partially disconnected, or the slave unit may be damaged. Check if the master unit is powered and, if necessary, please contact our helpdesk. 3) If the LK of the master unit does not flash, check if the master unit is powered. Other system errors may also occur. Refer to the User s Manual of the master unit. <ALM on> Check items Measures Check the I/O side connection of the slave unit. <ALM flashing> Check items Check the voltage of the external ( DC) of the master unit. Please adjust the voltage of the external power source to within the rated value of 21.6V to 27.6V. Also, with the wiring for s, please ensure that transmission lines are not touching or misfired. Measures Adjust the voltage of the external of the master unit to lie within the range from 21.6 to 27.6V (recommended voltage is 26.4V). Check the total line length. Review the total line length and the size of the transmission line so as not to connect a load exceeding a supply current limit on the transmission line and, if necessary, adjust the connected load (e.g. the supply current on the transmission line is 2A if the size is 1.25mm 2 and the total length is 50m or less). <LK and ALM flashing alternately> Check items Measures Check the address of the slave unit. The address of the slave unit is not set (255) or address redundancy occurs. Take the following measures. 1) Change the address within the range from 0 to 254. 2) Check if there is another slave unit undergoing the same flashing and, if necessary, reset the address so as not to be redundant. -BL296*B08F**** 17/22-
