BEGINNING SEWING BEGINNING SEWING WITH HOME DECOR This class is an introduction to basic sewing with an emphasis on Home Décor sewing. You will learn basic sewing skills such as reading pattern instructions, laying out pattern pieces, inserting a zipper, making and inserting cording and making buttonholes. It will include introducing a ruffle, rolled hem foot, circular attachment, pintuck foot, couching, fringe, twisted floss, bobbin work, twin needle and wing needles. Techniques taught include Madeira hem, fringe and braiding. This is a scrappy quilt so get those scraps out and ready. EMBROIDERY CLASSES TIS THE SEASON QUILT: MULTI HOOPING TECHNIQUES Claudia Dinnell's multiple hooping techniques are amazingly easy to do once you learn how. All of her patterns are done the same way with no template printing. Minimum hoop size needed is 6" x 10". Four sessions are planned for this class. Each session is $25.00.
