Trim any excess, leaving 2.5-4cm (1-1.5") around the edge of the hoop. 02 Print the pattern and cut it out around the dotted line, then place it behind the fabric and tape in place. Hold the hoop up to a bright light and trace the design onto the fabric with the erasable fabric pen. 03 Using three strands of thread throughout, make French knots in the centre of the flower in turquoise, medium coral and dark orange. 04 For the flower petals, use dark coral, dark orange, medium coral and peach. Stitch each petal using a mixture of long and short straight stitches for each area of colour, following the colour chart above. Backstitch the outline of each petal in dark pink, then use satin stitch to make the centre of each anemone with turquoise thread. Finally, make radiating straight stitches around the flower centre using bright orange thread. 02 Using three strands of thread throughout, satin stitch the leaves in bright green, angling the stitches from the outside edge of the leaf towards the stem and centre vein.
