Dry with a soft, dry cloth. Do not place hot objects, including cups of tea/ coffee, on timber surfaces as this may damage polish coating. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, as this will damage timber & polishes. Exposed timber & timber veneer is a natural product & will darken with age & exposure to ultra violet light. Timber edges are extremely vulnerable to impact damage, so please use caution when relocating timber products & when placing timber products next to hard surfaces. Cleaners should be instructed to exercise particular care to protect timber edges from impact from cleaning equipment. LAMINATE High pressure finishes including High Pressure Laminates, Melamine & matching edge strips. For normal cleaning wipe with a clean cloth & mild detergent/water mix to clean the surface of loose dirt. Monthly maintenance- wipe with a clean cloth using a recommended spray cleaner. Do not use products containing oil, silicon or acid on Laminate or Melamine surfaces. Do not attempt cleaning using an abrasive liquid or harsh cloth that may scratch the surface. CORIAN & OTHER SOLID RESIN Soapy water or ammonia based cleansers will remove most dirt & stains from Corian/solid resin products. To remove water marks wipe with a damp cloth & towel dry. To maintain the Corian/solid resin finishes use a non-abrasive polish & apply with a soft cloth. Avoid exposing Corian/ solid resins to strong chemicals, if contact occurs, quickly flush the area with water. GLASS Glass edge profiles are very vulnerable to impact; therefore, use caution when positioning glass products. To avoid chips & scratches avoid abutting glass products up against hard surfaces like concrete or other glass products. CHROME PLATE, POWDER-COATED METAL & STAINLESS STEEL Clean using a damp cloth and mid, cleaning product. Dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or cloths. TEXTILES GENERAL Vacuum fabric regularly using an upholstery attachment, and low suction or brush with a firm upholstery brush. Turn & rotate loose cushions regularly. Treat spills and stains as soon as possible. Gently blot spills away with a dry cloth. Do not apply any liquid cleaner to the fabric as this may result in permanent marking. Dry in the shade away from direct heat and sunlight. Allow to dry thoroughly before reuse. Avoid exposure of fabrics & leather to direct sunlight, as this is likely to cause fading & damage LEATHER Avoid placing leather in direct sunlight. Keep free of dust and grit. Never use harsh chemicals or acrylic cleaners, solvents or oils. Use leather protection cream 3-4 times a year, following manufacturer s instructions for use. For cleaning use approved leather care product. NOTE: Under no circumstances must steam cleaning be used to clean upholstery. This may cause damage to the fabrics and/or any water based glues used to stabilise the fabric on the furniture.
