BONNYVILLE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY BENCH SHOW RULES 1. Important change for 2016: Entries must be submitted at the Bonnyville Agricultural Society Office at the Bonnyville Rodeo Grounds between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 08, 2016. Flowers may be dropped off between 9 a.m. and 12 noon on Friday September 09, 2016. Judging will take place etween 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon. 2. All exhibits must be the original work or product of the exhibitor. Entries may not have been previously entered into the Bonnyville Agricultural Society Bench Show Competition. 3. Each exhibitor must complete an entry form. 4. The cost per entry shall be $1.00 5. Unless otherwise specified, exhibitors may submit (2) entries per category. 6. The exhibitor is responsible for ensuring that entries are submitted to the correct category. Please ensure that you are using the 2016 category list. 7. Juniors, Intermediates, and Teens must ensure that their age is included on the entry form. 8. Juniors and Teens may enter adult categories only if there is no equivalent category or if there is no competition in their age-specific category. The exhibit will be judged as an adult exhibit. 9. Exhibits entered in the Handicraft category must be clean, finished, and free of wear. 10. The committee reserves the right to remove and disqualify any exhibit that is infested with insects or disease. 11. If there are less than 3 exhibits in any one category, the committee reserves the right to amalgamate the category with another of the same type. 12. Judges are not obligated to award a 1 st prize unless the exhibit warrants one. Judges decisions are final. 13. Prizes unless otherwise stated, will be: a. First prize $15.00 b. Second prize $10.00 c. Third prize $ 5.00 14. Exhibits will be on display from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on September 10, 2016. 15. Prize money will be awarded to recipients when they pick up their exhibits on Saturday September 10, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Exhibits not claimed by 5:30 p.m. may be disposed of at the committee s discretion. 16. The committee will take precautions to ensure the security of all exhibits while on display. However, we do not hold ourselves responsible for the value of any exhibit nor for any damage that may be sustained by any exhibit.
